Does it come with double side tape?

BEST ANSWER: No mounting accessories (tape/clamps/etc) come with the cover, however there is space to add your own - it all depends on the surface you're mounting the protector.

Could this be run under a rug or carpet?

BEST ANSWER: Absolutely, but if you can run the cable under a rug or carpet, it makes this item redundant. I used this product where I couldn’t have it under a rug

You can but there will be a noticeable bump. You can use rug pad to offset the bump.

Product appears white but is grey
I made it work but don't like surprises in this kind of work. Flattens out quickly which is really nice. I leave another after I install it.

Wire protection.
I would recommend it. It is keeping my cables safe from wear and tear. It could have an option to fasten it to the floor, but it is still a good product.

Works!
This item worked for the intended purpose. There was some initial curling, especially the inside of the roll. This was solved by laying it flat in a hot garage with a couple of strategically placed weights for problem areas. Duration to permanent 'flatness' was about one week.

Works well
I purchased this to cover a power cord that ran from a A/V rack to a receptacle. The Cable Cover comes packaged in a roll so you will likely need to lay it flat before using. We used gaff tape to secure it to the tile floor and it works just fine. Uncovered power cords are considered 'trip hazards' and this cable cover eliminates that issue when secured properly.

Safety, protection and looks good
Because it comes rolled up you must roll it up in reverse to get it to lay flat on the floor. A very simple task. There is plenty of room to cover ethernet cables and power cords to avoid a trip hazard. I would ask that more colors be made a available. Yellow would be a wise color to add to draw attention to a trip hazard. It also prevents damage to cords from constant stepping on them. I like the product very much and it does the job it was designed to do.
