I'm confused about the white color in the picture. Is it a faded white with a wood pattern? Or is it pure-solid white similar to the black color in the picture? I'm looking for a pure white so it can reflect LED in my room.

BEST ANSWER: It's not pure solid White like the black one. It's off white blending with very very light creamy color in wood pattern. It's beautiful and will definitely fit in your LED room because of the wood texture. I have it in my office and it's really nice offset and little bit contrast with white room. It looks much better than solid black.

It does not come with a tabletop; it is grayed out to show the approximate proportions of a tabletop you would add to it.. This item is sold as the frame and motors only. They have a few options you can add to your order, or you can attach your own bought elsewhere; we had one from Ikea that has worked out quite nicely.

BEST ANSWER: If it doesn't, you can make your own (or have someone handy make one). I made my own surface from 3/4" finished plywood, but you could also use MDF or likely several other materials if you know how to and have the basic tools you'd need.

What is this made of? Is it solid wood or plywood? Or is it like an Ikea desktop where it's thin layers of particleboard with cardboard in the middle to cut down on weight? I'd want to cut it to size with a circular saw but I want to know what's inside.

BEST ANSWER: Yes there are predrilled holes. It did come with screws, but I cant remember it the screws came with the base or the top, as I bought both.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, the 6ft comes in a 75 x 34 x 3" box. The 5ft comes in a 63 x 34 x 3" box. We've been able to move them in pickup trucks, cargo vans, big SUVs with the seats folded down, and on minivans with the seats folded or removed. Hope this helps. Thanks.

does/can the surface work as a dry-erase board?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, the desk surface was not designed for this purpose so it's not the best for dry-erase markers. It can work but it is tough to erase the markers cleanly from the surface. The surface of this desk has some micro-texture on it that makes it good for use with computer mice, but that makes it harder to cleanly erase the surface so the desk could look dirty after erasing or it could show some "shadow" traces of what was written if erased quickly and not thoroughly wiped. Using a glass top with the desk would work better if you will be using the desk with dry erase markers a lot. Hope this helps.

The minimum desktop height notes 23.6". Is that the lowest default height of the table if I was sitting? I'm concerned it might be a little too low.

But you don't have to use it that low, the desk can adjust to any height between 23.6 - 49.2" and you can save your own height presets to get a custom fit from the desks. We use sit-stand desks at the Monoprice head office and the saved presets are higher than the minimum possible to get the most comfortable sitting and standing heights for the individual users. I wanted a 5ft and 6ft desktops for my sit-stand desk, but without the curve in the 5ft desktop. Would it be reasonable to trim the 6ft desktop down by 1ft? I appreciate that there would be an overhang on the 5ft side still.

BEST ANSWER: I can’t say for sure but many manufacturers have just started slapping these stickers on everything because it’s cheaper for them to do that to comply with CA law than it is to be fined or litigated against for not including one on a product they thought did not need one. I’m surprised raw fruit doesn’t need the stickers. I’m sure pesticide or herbacides contribute some minor amount of carcinogens that are cancerous.

After nearly a year of waiting, I finally have my desk assembled.
It took nearly forever to get this 6' desktop part back in stock and shipping was 3x the cost of the desktop piece, but it is together and with the L-shaped sit-stand base looks very good and is very functional (the included cable clips don't stick well and some have fallen loose). I am happy with how this turned out and still cheaper than many of the alternatives out there.

Great quality
The white table top is beautiful. it has a light wood grain that is more of a light gray then white but it looks very high end. they could of put a thicker veneer on it, so if you are rough on your desktop it will mark up, or bubble from an un-coastered drink but if you take care of it you should be fine. I love this color, glad I went with this over the black.
