Some reviewers found significant RF leakage due to poor connectors. These reviews are a year plus old. Is this still a problem? Should I buy these with the expectation of replacing the heads?
BEST ANSWER:I have over 5,000 ft worth of this SDI cable and I’ve only had one minor issue of signal drop. Sent the bad cable in to monoprice and they replaced it immediately. No other issues after that.

I have used these cables for over a year now with no problems pushing 3G HD sdi video through with 0 issues. The jacket is a bit stiff but have had no issues from signal or connectors.
We needed cables that would span the distance from our End Zone/behind the Basket Camera's to our Control Area for Live Sports Streaming. These worked perfectly, made the job so much easier than piecing together shorter cables and at a price that didn't break the bank. They will get plenty of use in the years to come.
