BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. These cables should have no problem supporting a webcam. Whether the webcam would require USB 2.0 or 3.0 speeds.

I need to separate my computer from my astronomy telescope by about 15 meters. On the female side I would want to hook into a powered hub. That hub will have two astronomy cameras (they are separately powered), a remote focuser, and to connect software on the computer to aim the telescope. Will this cable both send and transmit information?

In the Description it says: "connect two USB-enabled devices with high performance". Will this have problems if I run a Powered USB 3.0 Hub with up to 7 devices on it?

Excellent Long-distance Option
I bought this cable for use in an application for a PC that was 50ft from the mouse/keyboard. I used it for a few weeks and decided I was moving and would not need it in my new location. I returned it, but not before proving that it worked fine for extending my USB 3.0 connections. I never tested actual throughout, but never had any connectivity issues to a 3.0 hub on the other end.
