Can this be used as a stand for a 15" laptop?

BEST ANSWER: It should work, at least in providing a steady platform. I've used it for a 19" monitor, and now a 24" monitor, without any problems. It might depend on the height you're trying to get for the laptop, so check the minimum and maximum heights it affords.

Yes. If this is the height you need, it will work well. It's extremely stable and the rubberized top will keep your laptop from moving.

I'd say so. I use it as a stand for a Dell M8600 and docking station, it's a little bit small for that but it does work fine

BEST ANSWER: there is only one riser per package. And you have to assemble it yourself. You will need to screw in the base plate and the top plate to the adjustable cylinder. And there is a adhesive rubber mat that you can choose to put on top

I want to use these to hold speakers, but the speakers are just over the listed weight limit at 20 lbs. Has anyone put anything this heavy on them and if so, how do they seem to perform?

Great product...Excellent Customer Service
Ordered three of the stands. Really enhances the office, allows me to look directly at the monitor instead of looking down and makes the office look much more professional. One of the stands had a defect. I contacted the company that shipped me one out a new one within one day free of charge.
