Yes, it comes with two sets actually - longer ones and shorter ones. So you get 8 long ones, approximately 1.25" long overall, and 8 short ones, approximately 0.5" overall.

I currently have one 25" and one 20" monitor mounted on my arms and they fit just fine. I think you could, go as high as two 27" monitors before you wouldn't be able to fit them side by side comfortably.

Is there any easy way you could have two identical monitors, and one of them be about 1/2 to 1" higher than the other using this arm? It's hard to tell from the pictures if there would be any way to accomplish this.

Would the monitors face backward if this were clamped to the front of the desk, instead of the back?
Bryan T.
on Jan 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I am pretty sure this would work. The "C" part of the clamp mounted to the desk would be on the front edge facing backwards, and the monitor arms can pivot around 180 degrees. I not sure how this would work with the monitors right in your face and the desk behind the monitors would pretty much be inaccessible. The whole purpose for me was to free of desktop space where the monitor bases sat and have the monitors floating about the desk.. Tthe space below now does not have the monitor bases sitting on the desk and gives me room for my "stuff". I really like this product and cannot believe I waited years to add it to my desk.

The desk clamp can be set at three different gap settings. While it's designed to open a maximum of 100mm (just under 4"), realistically you're looking at about 90mm (about 3.6") in most applications.

Can the dual monitor mount hold 2, 31.5” monitors? I’ve been looking a mount that can hold both but haven’t found any
A shopper
on Jun 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Definitely not. I have 2 27" and while it will hold them, they can only be straight inline, no angle between them and the arms are fully extended. They also require you to tighten them extremely tight to hold them in position otherwise they then to sag. I would suggest 2 single arm mounts or a higher end mount.

If your monitors are fairly light and you want a "V" type configuration, you could make it work. If you want them closer to a straight line, the monitors would overlap each other at that size. I am close to the limit for flat side by side mounting with two 23" monitors.

No, (x)2 27" can just fit when leveled square. To have any adjustment on parallel arms I have had to rotate one monitor 90 degrees. Overall great stand for the price though.

Monoprice Essential Single-Monitor Desk Mount
Monoprice Essential Single Monitor Adjustable Arm Desk Mount
Monoprice Essential Single Monitor Articulating Arm Desk Mount
Monoprice Essential Triple Monitor Articulating Arm Desk Mount
BEST ANSWER: It really depends on the size of your cable management system. The small, circular holes will be much too small for this. Some of the larger ones, with oval-shaped holes, might work if you removed the edge guard. Since the base plate is so wide, I'd say stick with using the desktop in most applications, and just place it near the desired cable management hole.

Not really. It allows you to put your monitor cables down through the top of the support tube and they come out near the base of the tube at the back.

Thanks, Ryan, for the answer. I don't think I described it right. There's a hole in the top of my desk, near the back, that's intended for keyboard, mouse, monitor cables to pass through and connect to the tower under the desk. I had seen a different one of these online that stated it could be installed in said hole. I have a hutch and back on my desk so there's no place to clamp it to the back edge.
I want to stick with Monoprice is why I was asking.
Thanks again for the answer, though!

What is the maximum extension for the arms?
joseph c
on Feb 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I'm not too sure what dimensions you're looking for but measuring a single arm, the first part (closest to the center pipe) is around 170mm (center of joint to center of joint) and the second part (which the monitor is attached to) is around 120mm. The monitor mount centre point should be around 300mm from the centre of the centre pipe, at full extension. In real world terms, I have two 20" widescreen monitors and there is enough room to have much bigger monitors.

Is there a way that I can secure the vertical pipe directly to the desk if I were to drill a hole through the desktop? by this I mean I would not use the clamp but hope the clamp assembly attaches with a single screw to the pipe; thus I would forgo the clamp and just use a screw and washers from beneath the desk. My desk is built in tight to the wall and clamp won't work.

But having said that, this product has not been tested with a 1 1/4 inch pipe so we cannot recommend using it this way. If you do try it on your own, having some backup method of securing the mount, like using a collar or some retaining pins or screws, might be a good idea. Alternatively, you could also explore our line of TV ceiling mounts that might work for your needs. Thanks for checking.

Is there anyway to order this dual monitor mount with the center column used for the triple articulating monitor mount that has a maximum height adjustment of 17.7"? Excellent multi-monitor mount. Highly recommend. However, when setting up any mount like this it helps to have an extra pair of hands.

Works - but not perfect
The unit itself is ok if both monitors are the same. If they are different, the monitors will likely not line up and there is no single monitor up and down adjustment. So an additional product is needed.

Good quality at a great price.
Works great and provides a lot of extra desk space. Configurable and easily holds my 24" Dell monitors.

Great Stand!
I had the single-monitor version of this, and I loved it so much, I bought this dual-display version for my primary displays. It is just as good as the single. Holds my two displays with perfect alignment, no sagging or flex. Super solid!
By default, both monitors will be the same height. But I flipped one of the brackets upside-down so one display is about 1" higher than the other.
If you have a desk that can work with a clamp-style monitor mount, I highly recommend these! Dual or single, both are great!

Amazing Quality
In the current times we have become accustomed to shoddy products time and time again. It was shocking to see such a reasonably priced desk mount having this high of quality. From the included allen wrench and two bolt lengths in the package, to how beefy the product is, it is shocking when you open the package. I bought two more after this one for family. Kudos for including the simple cable management clips, and thank you for producing a high-quality product at a reasonable cost.

As Advertised
It's been a great addition to my WFH office, providing support for two Dell monitors. My only modification was a small piece of plywood on top of my desk for a more solid base than my current desktop. Overall a great purchase.

Excellent Stand
Look at the pictures, it's exactly as it comes. It holds your monitors, it's steel, it's good.
