BEST ANSWER: I don't think so, because the hooks on the hanging part (rectangle) use gravity to secure the tv. It can only be mounted on the wall in the manner shown.

I'd be wary of that, as they only spec it to up to 70" TV's and a weight of 77 lbs. I do have a 55" Plasma on one now and a 60" LED on another one, the plasma weighs just under 70lbs, and it seems pretty darn solid. But I'd find one that fits your size TV and is spec'd to handle well more than the 82 lbs you need! Better safe than sorry for an investment like that! :) Thanks and good luck!

I used it for a Sony XBR 65X900E, but it is only 52 lbs. I think it is well built and probably could hold 82. They most probably use a safety factor of 10 or 15 % which should support 82.

BEST ANSWER: I would say "no" - the top hooks are fixed in place. Because it is so slim, it is really important to make sure the wall plate is firmly attached to the wall as level as possible.

BEST ANSWER: It's very slim - about 1". With a large TV, it's difficult to get any tilt at all, because the bottom edge presses against the wall. If mounting a larger TV, tie extensions to pull strings before putting up the TV, it'll be impossible to reach them after the fact. Hope this helps.

Can this mount easily swap between tilted and flat orientation? Or do you set it for preferred angle and that's it?

LOVED IT but some things to consider.
Was tight to the wall and easy to install.
But it?s so thin you may need to watch for various input data and power cable into the back of your TV. I had to replace my power cable because it was the PLUG into the TV was too long.
BUT got a great RIGHT ANGLE plug from Mono an solved the problem.
