It does a pretty good job of carrying the video signals from my computer and putting them inside my monitor.

These cables, all of the MINI DP to Full DP are incapable of hitting 4K at 60hz beyond 6 foot lengths (and even then, they can be finicky).

This cable is used to connect my 4K monitor to my server that I installed an older video card in when I replaced my video card in my desktop PC. The original HDMI connection only allowed 4K resolution at 30 Hz, but this allows 4K at 60 Hz, which is easier on the eyes. It works just fine and the price can't be beat.

The 15 ft Monoprice cables serve the purpose perfectly well.

I have bought 2 of these cables for my x3 32" 4k monitors, 1 works perfectly fine at 4k 60HZ , the other causes the screen to flicker on and off repeatedly which is very annoying while working on audio production, 3rd screen working fine too at same settings but is connected via a very short cable which I am replacing soon,mind that I have an sli system with GTX980 kingpin, I have placed a new order as opposed to RMA since I live in Canada which would come back as roughly the same cost to RMA. I just wish it was simpler to resolve this.

I have an older DP to DP cable from Monoprice that drives my 2016 Dell 27-inch display at its full 2560x1440 resolution from a GTX 980 with zero problems. I had to switch to the display's mDP input because another computer is now using the DP, so I purchased the 15-foot version of this cable. I noticed immediately that these cables are much thinner, but they are all supposed to handle 4K, so I hooked things up. First boot, and the display said there was no signal on mDP. Next boot remained blank until the Windows login, and the resolution had dropped to 1080p. Attempting to adjust things showed that I could only get up to 1200p. I'd had the 10-foot version on order, and it arrived in the interim, so I tried that as well. Same result. Luckily, I had grabbed a high-speed 10-foot HDMI cable in a previous order, and gave it a try instead. Boom, full resolution, zero problems. Maybe the 6-foot and shorter versions of this cable can handle 4K. Sadly, my longer runs could not.
