I'm designing my game room for my house, and I was hoping to run this 6 ft premium HDMI into a Keystone HDMI coupler which connects to a 20-25ft version of this cable in the wall, through my tv mount and directly into my tv. Will this cable suffice for such a task (both 6ft and 20-25ft) providing 4k 60Hz HDR features still, or will I get a degraded signal going 26-31ft total with this cable (also through a coupler too if that matters)?

Monoprice 4K Certified Premium High Speed HDMI Cable - 4K60Hz, 18Gbps, HDR, CL3 Rated, 20ft, Black
Monoprice Keystone Jack HDMI Female to Female Coupler Adapter, White
BEST ANSWER: I have a run of approximately 30 ft through interior walls using a coupler. Since installation have fed 4k with no loss of signal. Television is a Samsung 60 in 4k. Mainly used for Powerpoint presentations but will run high quality videos on occasion. Will not be disappointed.

Hi
I made an install with 2 25' hdmi cables and this wall coupler. No problems at 1080p but not tested at 4K. Check your 2 cable with coupler before put cable in the wall.
Thanks.

As long as you are using VERY good cables, this total length should probably be able to give you 4K.. The coupler also needs to be high end as well. Good Luck

How does this cable perform with 4K HDR in lengths of 20'? Is it advisable to go directly with an active HDMI cable? or is 20' plenty acceptable for a 4K and HDR application? Thanks

BEST ANSWER: Works great for me at 20 feet. I would be afraid that active cables might interfere with the handshakes between the various devices.

Are these cables Dolby Vision compatible? I have a Dolby Vision TV and receiver; however, my AppleTV 4K requires upgraded cables for it to work.

Why is it that when I look up Monoprice at hdmi (dot) org to see if these cables are actually Premium Certified by the HDMI program, they DO NOT show up?

Good cable but very thick in 20 ft length
Cable seems to be good quality but is very thick in 20 ft length. I use it to connect my laptop to my TV and it is difficult to roll up between uses. I will need to findy a more flexible cable.

Very stiff, thick and heavy; consider bends & strain relief in your application
I'm giving these cables 2/5 stars due to the thickness/stiffness of these things. They are very heavy and can apply a lot of force to the port without measures to account for strain relief. I placed self-adhesive cable management loops on the SMART Boards. However, these cables have a life of their own and our staff will need to be very careful. I must admit that this was not a consideration when I purchased them.

HDMI high speed cables
Fixed the connection speed issue and were plenty long enough to route through the wall. Nice clean install. Only comment is they were stiffer and a bit heavier than I expected. Mounted adhesive pull ties tie downs on the back of the TV to relieve the stress on the outlets. Made it look clean and more professional anyhow.

Works fine, but is quite thick
Works fine, but I wish it were thinner (as far as I can tell, there are no "slim" 20' cables at Monoprice, just 8' and 50')

Worked well in my application.
I used it for 1080 so I can't verify the 4K part. It's a little bit stiff so if you need to make any tight turns you may want a different cable. It worked perfectly for my run from a TV, up the wall, across an open ceiling, down the wall, into the rack.

Great price and great cables
HDMI cables either meet the spec or they don't. So, for me, the most important factors are build quality and price. I don't need extra-slim cladding or 90-degree bends, just a simple HDMI cable at a good price. Monoprice cables have been the standard for me for quite a few years now. I bought this particular cable to be the primary connection between our AV receiver and the television. It will be connected and then in place for (hopefully) many years. I wanted something sturdy, and this was exactly it.

Confirmed 4k resolution and 5.1 audio
20tf cable was much thicker than the shorter version, but performs as expected. I upgraded to this cable because my previous hdmi supported 4k resolution but didnt have the bandwidth to carry 5.1 audio at the same time, which caused audio stuttering. This cable cleared up the problem.
