I have a full motion articulating tv wall mount. If I mount a sound bar using this bracket, will I still be able to take advantage of the full motion I have for the tv?
A shopper
on Aug 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you should still have full motion. Despite how the image shows, these brackets only mount into one set of VESA mounts between the TV and your wall mount (as shown the angled part, is what you will mount your sounds bar too. Maybe an 1/8th inch of thickness will be added between the one set of VESA mounts and your wall mount. That will be the only change to your current setup, with the addition of the weight these mounts being another (negligible over all).
I hope that answered your question.

It depends on the TV mount, and how far you have it from the wall. It's possible that with some TVs and mounts, the soundbar might hit the wall sooner in the downward tilt position than the TV did beforehand. If the TV is on an arm, you can probably pull it further away from the wall and achieve the same downward angle as before.

Sure thing. I have a Monoprice pull-down mount (15618)and have my Vizio soundbar mounted below with these brackets. They work perfect after using some washers to space the brackets away from the mount. The soundbar sits flush with the front of the TV. I have full range of motion and could not be happier.

Yes, I purchased a set for our Samsung sound bar and mounted it on a full motion articulating wall mount. Essentially, the brackets become part of the mount and doesn't disrupt its capabilities.

Could I mount a center channel speaker with this?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, you may need to get creative especially if the center channel only has one mount point. I would have the angle blades face each other and mount the speaker to both overlapping together.

Yes. I would say that you could. It is very adjustable, and universal fitment for various applications. I easily mounted my Sony soundbar to the back of my Sharp 4k 55" TV, and I still had a couple of different placement configuration options. You should be good with a center channel speaker, too.

Hard to say for certain since we don't know how your speaker mounts, but it's highly variable so it will probably work for you. If nothing else, you could mount a piece of wood or MDF between the speaker and bracket to bridge any difference.

Two things. I cannot attest to any brand that it will or will not work with. You have to look at the first set the back of your TV to see if it's flat from the bracket holes to the bottom which many are not, and second you have to look at your bar to see if there are any screw holes or if you're going to have to drill them. This applies to all uses of this bar.

I have a similar situation. If you are looking for a "perfect" installation, it will not work. However, in my application I was able to fully secure the bracket, technically upside down, to the sound bar and then to the TV using the top screws. I subsequenly padded the lower "wings" of the bracket using some of the shipping styrofoam placed between the bracket and the back of the TV. It created a very secure attachment and has worked well.

Pic is not accurate. You can only use one set of mounting holes. The mounting holes would never line up like that. because soundbar pattern is usually wider. So Yes it will work. Just lay tv and soundbar flat (touching). Move mount around until you find the best hole pattern to use. It will work great as long as soundbar has rear mounting holes and not bottom mount.

BEST ANSWER: These bars are just under 18 inches in length, so whether or not they would fit depends on how high up the back of your TV the VESA mounting holes are, and how much space the soundbar specs require underneath (it should not be in contact with the TV!), and where the mounting holes are on the soundbar's bracket. If you're not mounting the TV on a moveable support arm, but just putting it up on a wall, why not just mount the soundbar to the wall, too?

It's possible. If you want to mount it on top, then the measurement between the top mounting holes on the TV to the top of the TV should be no more than around 16". Any further and it likely won't work. For the bottom mount, it would be the same measurement, but from the bottom mounting holes to the bottom of the TV.

It's not quite as universal as the description suggests, but there are a number of different ways to install it. I have had it mounted above one tv, and under another, and the slots and different mounting holes allow you to position almost however you want. Since vesa pattern sizes and locations are different tv set to tv set, your best bet is to get it, try it, and see how it works for you.

BEST ANSWER: There isn't a simple answer to this.
There are a couple of things that need to be taken into consideration
1. How wide are the mounting screws on the tv? That is the biggest thing. Most TV's have multiple mounting holes, so it shouldn't be a problem, but they have to be wide enough to accommodate the holes on the soundbar.
2. How far apart are the mounting screws on the soundbar?
Those two factor in to whether it will fit. Chances are they will work fine together. I have a 60 in Sony LCD and a Yamaha YAS-203 Soundbar and it worked fine.

BEST ANSWER: May be a little skechy. The soundbar does not have traditional mounting brackets. Brackets are mounted to a wall (or 15265) then the soundbar sits on the brackets. If you want it to work you'll need to spend some time with the components and come up with a plan. you will definitely need additional nuts and bolts.

These adaptors worked well for my 55" Westinghouse and sound bar. The adaptors will hold the weight of your sound bar. Depending on your wall mount and the VESA size for the Sony I can't speak to how well it will fit. You can see they are very adjustable and should work but your mileage may very.

BEST ANSWER: No it will not, unless you turn the bar so the screw holes are facing the back, which works then point the speakers down.

BEST ANSWER: I don't have a picture but have installed many of these for customers. They mount to the bottom or top of the mount for the tv loosely then to the soundbar. Once secured to the sound bar you tighten it up on the mount and it will not move. Very easy install and works great.

does this work with the bose 300 soundbar?
A shopper
on Jul 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Only if the distance from the tv female bolt mounting hole and the soundbar mounting hole is less than the distance of the farthest holes in the mounting brackets. If you don’t have those figures, the only person who can actually answer that question is a person who has successfully mounted the bracket with the exact same tv you wish to use, with the exact same soundbar. Two, cut to size pieces of perforated flat or angle iron/aluminum and the proper 4 bolts from the local hardware store accomplish the exact same thing, and you can get them in whatever length you need.

How far apart can the mounts be on the back of the soundbar? My mounting brackets are on the very end of the soundbar, so they are 37" apart. I have a 55" TCL TV and a 38" TCL soundbar.

BEST ANSWER: The mounts are pretty flexible as far as mounting position due to the shape and the slots for the bolts. I have a 36" Samsung soundbar and a 50" Samsung TV with the 200x200 VESA mount pattern and it was easy to find an orientation that held the soundbar properly. I used the top mounts on the TV for the brackets but you could get a wider span by using the bottom ones - you only need to use one set of bolts to hold the brackets to the TV.

Very easy to install a sound bar
It worked out to be so easy! I just studied the system of connections on the back of my tv mount and it almost installed itself!

Does the trick
This sound bar mount did exactly what I needed it to do. I was able to slip the arms between the TV and wall mount one at a time so I was able to install it without taking the TV off the wall. It came with all the hardware needed. I definitely recommend this for anyone looking to mount their sound bar underneath their TV.

Not Needed
It would fit the sound bar that I have, however, the new TV has sound capabilities that obviate the need for both the bar and bracket.

Nice. Works on 65" monitor, too.
I wanted to mount my center channel speaker above a 65" monitor, which is larger than the specs say it will support, but it worked just fine. I had to play with the configuration a bit but it did work as is.
The only issue I had was that the bolt options that were supplied with the bracket were metric, and the attachment points on my speaker take US bolts. It was a very common size bolt which was easy to find in my shop (or at any decent hardware store). So just make sure that you have the proper bolts for your speaker.

Worked Well
This product worked well for accomplishing the job! I did have to spend some time to finagle it, but it was because of the sound bar I was working with. It was most meant for a wall mount option. All is up and secure though!

Overall Not Bad for $14.99
Mounted my Zvox soundbar on my TV. nuts provided were too large for the holes on back of my soundbar, had to provide smaller nuts. Difficult to install and keep level. After install looks and works great.
