No surprises here. It?s a 50? roll of speaker wire. Most other stores had rolls that were way too short or way to long for what I needed. Thanks, Monoprice!

It does what it?s supposed to do! Well packed and a good value, as far as l can tell it?s good quality wire.

I bought the Select series 14ga wire for the surround channels in my portable outdoor movie projection setup. The distance from amp to speakers is less than 25 feet and the surround speakers are small so I went 14ga instead of 12ga in use for all of the other channels inthe setup.

Sound wise, the wires are fine. Since this is a portable setup, I need to roll/unroll the wires every time the systems is used. The insulation on the Select Series seems to have more plastic mixed in making it easier for the wire to remember a bend/kink and difficult to 'flip-coil' roll the wire back up when finished. The insulation on the Choice Series is more flexible and rolls up much easier.

For a permanent installation, the stiffer insulation shouldn't be a problem. Once rolled out, the wire stays flat.

A better choice at 25 ft or less when you intend to use banana plugs than the 12 gauge, as the quality is fine and the ease of fitting the plugs is substantially better.

Decent for what it is and the pricing.

Sheathing is great. Just flexible enough at this gauge to do what I needed. Easy to read text to identify one side of the wire over the other for easy connections over long distances. Excellent price

Great value for the money for a garage/shed install. Not difficult to route at all (it's 14awg), but beats 22awg.

Fit to purpose. Casing is thick and sturdy. Gets the job done just as well as more expensive cable would. Despite running it through a gauntlet of emi there's no discernible interference.

Used this for my surround sound and it worked well. I recommend tinning the ends because they don't really stay twisted on their own.

I was rewiring all of my SS Speakers in my living room after getting a better receiver and moving all of my equipment into the basement, and the 14AWG was perfect for my setup.
