previously had a mix of cabling and adaptors. changing to direct wiring significantly improved video display.

Bad cable, don’t buy it doesn’t work

Very good Mini Displayport-to-HDMI cable except HDMI head is a little bit longer I think then is convenient for plugging into the back of my monitor with a slight recessed indentation where HDMI interface is.

No ferrite bead on either end of cable :-( A ferrite bead is a type of choke that suppresses high-frequency electronic noise. These noises cause interference with other devices. For example: I installed the cable on one of my monitors and it seem to show the video just fine. Then, I swapped to another machine and forgot about installing the new cable. When I went back to the the machine with the new cable I noticed my bluetooth mouse was giving me problems with jumping, stopping and and starting. So, I spent a full day troubleshooting my mouse problems when in fact there wasn’t a mouse problem. It was the video cables electronic interference with the bluetooth mouse signal. I now use a video with ferrite beads at both end. Now, I do not have any mouse problems..

This cable is worth the price. Works as it should and quality seems good.

I was looking everywhere for a cable like that for my older Macbook and I am glad I found it. It works perfectly and has a convenient length to connect from TV to computer.

I hate leaving negative reviews because maybe it was my error. I bought this cable to play movies from my Mac onto a projector. It didn't work. It could be that it's not a thunderbolt and that's the problem-- if it is then I deserve the negative review and the product.
