Can the Pure Outdoor Plaque be removed?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, it is just a sticker. It is in a recessed rectangle in the molding so that will still be there, but the sticker itself can be removed.

Yes. The adhesive used is pretty strong, but it can be removed. Don't expect to reuse the thick sticker.

Is the foam open cell or closed cell?

BEST ANSWER: Hi. It is not specified, but must be open cell since the foam of these bags has the ability to return to its original state after being compressed by the equipment you save. At the same time it is of great advantage since it gives shock and suspension against blows. Ideal for the equipment inside does not get damaged during the trip.

BEST ANSWER: Yes - as long as you put it in a box. It is so durable however, you won’t need any additional bubble wrap etc. Maybe some paper to prevent it from moving around in the box. It is very well-made and I would feel comfortable shipping something like an expensive camera in it, without a second thought.

BEST ANSWER: The bottom has 3 pieces of foam. One is 1/2 inch thick on the very bottom (no pick apart) and two pieces of of 2 1/8 inch thick pick apart foam. The top has a piece of egg crate foam that is 1 7/8 inch thick.

The case comes with a bottom layer of about 1" thick, and 2 layers of 2" thick pre-cut foam which you can remove parts for your stored items. The top of the case comes with a glued-in piece of foam with egg-carton shaped projections. Note: the two 2" foam layers are not as high density as found in pricier cases, but they do the trick.

are there any Panel Frame Kit for this case? Or any way where I can lock an inner frame to attach a plate on top, for instrumentation?

BEST ANSWER: Not exactly sure what you are trying to do but the short answer is that you would have to use hot glue or drill holes if you want to build something inside of the case. It’s not like rack case where you would have tracks with screw holes. . If you want pics from the inside let me know. Hope that helps

I could see an ability to glue something onto the inside lid but no, there are no mounts or hard sections. The dense foam can be cut to shape.

BEST ANSWER: Nothing as of yet. Looks like they added the slots for future use, or perhaps they are to fit existing standardized hardware from other manufacturers. The slots are(roughly) 1-1/16" wide and 1-5/16" deep. I'd estimate the holes in the lid would accept a #4 screw. Anyone with some fabricating skills could probably make use of them.

Are these stackable? Meaning are there protrusions on the bottom of the case that fit into slots on the top, so I can stack several of this same case model on top of each other and they stay somewhat locked together? The photos show the top, but not the bottom. Most of the other cases at Monoprice indicate specifically that they are stackable.

BEST ANSWER: Yes it can. It's locked in place while fully open or closed, but rotate it part way and then it can be pushed off the hinges to the right side. Very convenient design.

The product states that it can expose you to lead. I was winding if you can clarify what parts may contain lead? Is just the metal attaching the handle?

Great Buy!
Love this and bought at a great price. I was stuck between this or the harbor freight Apache 4800. The Harbor Freight had the wheels but I was able to get this for a better price. Quality seems legit and cutting the foam to fit the pistols were no issue.

Drone equipment well protected
The case is well made and sturdy and came at a fair price. I was able to customize two levels of storage for my drone equipment. I would not hesitate to order a second case should the need arise.

A good cheap alternative to Pelican.
Bought this case for my projector. Fits what I bought it for and works great. Hasn't taken heavy abuse, just light falls. Latches are a bit stiff and can be troubling to close up, but they close so I can't complain about that. A good cheap alternative to Pelican.

Great value for the $
Great case for the money. It doesn't have reinforced locks, and sure, it doesn't feel quite as great as a pelican, but for $150 cheaper, it keeps my equipment protected

One Concern
Overall the case is a good value and the size exactly what I needed for my 7s/48p 108amp Torqueedo lithium battery pack. Just fits the length and height with just enough width to add the BMS and have a recessed Anderson plug . I looked for other cases but none had the right fit. The pack weights over 50 pounds and I don?t trust the rear hinge for the weight. To move I put a strap around case and plastic ties in all 4 front holes (to keep the case from popping open causing a major disaster). I bought the case on sale so alls good.
