Not worth it
I'd avoid these. They didn't work at all. The toolless part didn't work at all and on top of that, getting the wires into their correct slots was near impossible. Better off buying the tool and getting proper connectors.

Works great!
Great price. And easy to connect, once you figure out how (no tips or instructions). By the third connector I had it down, and can do a reliable connection in about 10 minutes. Thanks monoprice.

It works.
Tue 3/25/2014 9:12 am. I had to repair a "pro" installation that didn't work, and I blather-on endlessly and ignorantly about it @ http://owenlabs.org/rant17.htmenet. Attaching these things to an ethernet cable is *not* easy, but the monoprice gadgets seem as easy as is likely. Monoprice has an *extremely* helpful PDF at http://www.monoprice.com/manual/How%20to%20-%20tooless%20keystone.pdf.

I don't recommend these at all, I bought 3 and used 2 and don't plan on using the last one. The issue is the cutters don't cut into the insulation wire at all or enough to make a connection. the first one i tried only 1 of the 8 wires had connection thinking i screwed something up i did another one and made sure all wires were in their proper spots - however this one none of the wires had a connection. skip out on these and spend the extra money for a punch down tool and the proper jacks.

Easy to Installs
Flip open, put cables in the corresponding color coded slots, snap shut, done. It's as easy as that. Only downfall was they don't have ivory colored so the beige stands out *slightly* from an ivory wall plate.
PROS: Very easy to install!

Great and Inexpensive
Ive always used manually terminated inserts so at first I was cussing these inserts as I found them difficult to hold everything and manually terminate each wire, there just wasnt much room. After looking at the insert and figuring out how it was supposed to be used I fell in love with these inserts as they truly are a breeze to put together.
PROS: 1) Very good conduct connections once the wire is terminated it crimps and works as it should.
2) Easy to use once you understand how the insert is designed to work.
CONS: No cons to speak of really the only down side is the TyRaps are cheap and break easily but as long as you dont over torque them youll be fine.

Don't buy these.
Don't buy theses, the compression thumb lever that comes with the product does not fully compress the wire into the teeth that hold it in place.
CONS: These are hard to use, the little hand thumb compression tool does not stay on and does not fully push the cable down into the teeth that make the connection.

A lot for your money
You get a lot for money on this one. And while they list these as beige, I would consider them ivory (which is what I really wanted).
