BEST ANSWER: As long as your system utilizes a PC power connector and the wire gauge is the same as your original cord gauge everything should work just fine.

Yes, just as long as the female end of this power cables slots are positioned the same as the male prongs of the speaker.

I need a 10 foot cord for my computer monitor. What gauge do I need?

BEST ANSWER: This cord being 14AWG and rates at 15A is plenty big for a monitor even an old CRT. A 16AWG cord should be fine as well for powering a monitor, they don’t normally need that many amps compared to say a gaming rig.

I am looking for a longer power cord for my new Samsung 75" Class - Q8DT Series - 4K UHD QLED LCD TV. Will this one safely work?

BEST ANSWER: These power cords come in several lengths. You should be able to find one to meet your requirements. Make sure of the connecting terminal to the TV. If it is the same type end you are in business. Also the power rating on these 14AWG is much higher than needed therefore actually safer for longer runs. Upon further investigation I find these Power cords ARE NOT the same ends at the TV. You need to look carefully at the terminating end before you purchase.

14 AWG power cord
It works.
Plug it in to the AC outlet on one end and connect the other to your equipment (in my case a high PSI air compressor) and turn it 'on' - wonder of wonders, electricity flows!

A perfect fit
Wonderfully thick cable yet still flexible enough to route along the back of my desk top and remain out of sight. It seats solidly into the power supply, remains in place during routine cleaning, and doesn't overheat or break continuity. I'd repurchase if I need another power cable.
