I love having the bright colors. No more guessing which cable belongs to which hard drive!

The cable works great. Locking feature works great. Price is unbeatable. I was hoping the blue would be slightly darker but I will be closing up the case so no one else will see this therefore, not a big deal at all.

CONS: Slightly lighter blue than I was hoping for.

Monoprice comes through with serviceable products at very reasonable prices, but this one is missing the latches it is supposed to have. Since I needed it, I simply used it without the advertised latching feature.

PROS: Cable works properly, carries signal..

CONS: Although advertised "w/locking Latch" the cable I received had no locking latches on either end.

Good quality cable & locking latch.

They did not cheap out on these SATA cables! Locking latch is very sturdy and the overall build quality is great. I bought these at a bunch of different lengths and 24" is more than enough to do some tidy wiring in an ATX board/case.

Anonymous was trying to use an internal cable for an external application. Reading the description clearly states this is an "L" connector (used inside your computer between your motherboard and hard drive), not an "I" connector (eSATA, e - for external use only).

PROS: Great cable at a great price.

The SATA plugs on this cable did not fit into the back of my external hard drive and DVR. It looks like their shaped was altered just enough during the manufacturing process to prevent them from sliding into the SATA receptacle. I ended up purchasing a more expensive cable elsewhere, and its plugs fit perfectly. However, I had no problem returning the first one to MonoPrice. Generally I have found MonoPrice's service to me excellent.
