BEST ANSWER: I have not cut it open to verify, but based on the flexibility I have no reason to doubt the printed spec of 22 gauge.

Are the cables twisted pair?

BEST ANSWER: No, the cables are "bound" yet run parallel to each other. They appear as "train tracks" if that's at all helpful. You can forcefully separate them if need be and there are also stops on either end to control the split. These cables are extremely rigid and they are not as pliable as, say, standard composite cables. They do not bend well in tight spaces. However, the build quality is stupendous and they are built for durability.

Are these cables in-wall rated? If not, does monoprice offer any that are?

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question, these cables will not be CL2 in wall rated. We do have single RCA cables that will be CL2 in wall rated, such as Product ID: 2680. We just sell them as single cables and not in pairs. So you would just have to purchase two.

What is the capacitance per foot?

BEST ANSWER: Monoprice doesn't say. This cable is RG-59 75 ohm. The standard capacitance for that type of cable is 20.6pF per foot which is quite good. This figure is consistent with Monoprice's other cable which is rated at 22pF per foot. You could go with SVS Soundpath at 12pF but you will pay about triple the price.

Will the #2864 work on a Dish Hopper 3 reciever and Vizio satellite speakers?

BEST ANSWER: The Dish Hopper 3 does have RCA audio outputs on the rear. They're labeled, and they're red and white just like the cable. But you don't say what model Vizio satellite speakers you have so I don't know what kind of connections are available to them. Please specify.

Good Option For Longer Length RCA Cables
Quality seems fine. I just needed a couple sets of longer RCA type cables to connect components to my amp in my newly built entertainment center cabinet.

Nice but build quality could be better
It's nice but the cable is kind of stiff and the connectors dont have the same amount of grip. The red one on my mine is loose a and the white one is super tight. Compared to my Amazon basics one, that one has a loose cable and connectors that aren't too tight. It works though sound wise
