Great cable, available in several lengths, works. Not readily available at b.buy or home dpt, as they only carry the most current style cables. Monoprc to the rescue once again, and at a good price, too.

I ordered the 3' set of cables to attach an older Sony CD/DVD player that is in perfect working order but predates HDMI, to a 32" LG TV that only has 1 HDMI input, currently occupied by Comcast cable box hookup. For about $6 with shipping this solved the problem nicely. What is odd is that the L and R audio jacks are "lined up" at opposite ends of the 5-wire bundle, instead of being immediately adjacent. That is why some reviewers complain about issues hooking up to their equipment. In my case I had just enough slack to make it all work. It's a quality product at 1/2 the price of anywhere else...if you can find 3' component cables anymore!

Worked great. It was too short for my purposes so I exchanged it for a longer one, which was easy!

The connectors are good but there are two problems: 1 - the cable material is too stiff for a cable this short. There is absolutely no concern with signal loss so the large diameter cable material is not useful. 2 - the split between the audio and video is too short so that cable routing is very difficult unless the equipment connectors are perfectly placed for this cable conductor sequence.
