This is *not* CAT 3 cable, it is plain 6-wire (3 pairs) flat phone cable; generally used for 3-line POTS phone systems. We use this for model railroading (DCC, Digitrax LocoNet cable).
The two previous reviews stated it is not Cat 3 cable. They are correct but nowhere in the description does it state it is Cat 3 cable. The description states it is 6 conductor 26awg wire.
