I bought 8 and 6 outlet surge protectors and they both have a right angle plug. Not sure when I bought this one and where it is now (probably the office). I'll try to remember to check.

No. Allow 8cm/3" projection from the receptacle before the power cable can be safely bent. Standard moulded 3 prong straight plug.

Probably about 2-3 feet. If there is a shortcoming to it, that's it. However, I have five of these in my home, so obviously I am very satisfied with it.

BEST ANSWER: I assume for the larger adapter plugs. Also a possibility is to have it stay on instead of going into standby mode., by having a plug permanently in one of the green slots.

According to the information imprinted on the bottom of the unit, it is rated at 15 Amps 120AC and 1800 Watts. The outside diameter of power cable is approx. 3/8 inch thick, I would assume they are using a 16AWG wire. I have been using these in my house for over 10 years and have yet to have one fail. Works Fine and lasts a good long time.

There's an OFF/Reset switch which is basically ON (protected/grounded) and OFF. A good surge protector

All-Round solid device protection
I have several of these units. They provide above-average protection at a below-average cost. As many others have said, the lightng is rather heroically bright, so a bedroom might not be a good location. Otherwise, functional and well-thought out. My only caveat is that the power light on one of them has started flickering and as I cannot tell why, it will have to be replaced.

I bought this after careful research of its capabilities, and because in its use case here a straight plug was essential. Yet I find I must review it also on its superb appearance. If Jonny Ives designed a surge protector it would be no sleeker.
One star docked for excessive LED brightness. So not quite Heaven In outlet form, but within a stones throw.

Doing the job in style
I recently purchased this power/surge protector for my home studio. I like the spacing of the outlets, and additional USB chargers will come in handy. I like the LEDs along the sides that give me an instant read-out on the status of the unit.

Great, solid power strip
I've been using mine for 4 years now (since 2016) and it's been rock solid. Provides plenty of power, outlets, and a couple USB ports. Just ordered another one for the girlfriend's desk. I've recommended this power strip to friends and several co-workers.
The only complaint I could see someone having on this is the bright green lights laminating both sides. It used to be in my bedroom and I didn't mind having a built-in night light, but I've since moved and don't need my computer setup in my bedroom anymore

Can't have enough
I purchased 2, 1 with USB outlets and 1 with USBs'. Told friends about them and they bought a couple. Used them all the time at home. I now have 4. One by the door for charging phones, earbuds,wireless headphones and external battery packs for phones. You can charge all your devices at the same time using their own transformers or the USB outlets. Also use at FOH Mix position during gigs for all audio equipment power. Very happy with them, highly recommend them....just ordered 2 more just in case. Ray in AZ
