BEST ANSWER:Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we would not carry any female Molex 4 pin cables. I would recommend searching on online marketplace for the desired cable. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Has anyone seen a cable with the same length and spacing but with a male sata connector instead of molex?

BEST ANSWER:Stay away from cables like that. It's a good way to start a fire. Molex connectors are rated for 132 watts while SATA connectors are only rated for 54 watts.

I use this to connect a PCI card with external female power plug to connect to a blu-ray drive that sits on top of the workstation. Then I run an long SATA cable from the motherboard out to the same drive. This frees up internal drive space for another hard drive. Everything works fine.
No problems, no complaints. It arrived promptly as scheduled. It was my fault for not realizing apparently some new drives need the 4th orange power wire which you don't get from the older 4-wire Molex connector cables. So far it still works for me just fine, though, since my drives aren't all that new.
The power supply connectors stuck out from the back of the connector instead of passing through. I had a hard time getting the cover on the case. This pass through power cable solved that problem.
I do mild modding of my system and could never find a close coupled harness that worked. There was always too much distance between the connectors. I tried the cables available locally but the retaining clips that hold the wire shield on would snap when I tried to remove them. When I saw these ones on the site I thought I would give them a try. They are a modders dream, end caps remove easily and the connector bites into the wire in 4 spots instead of 2 like the others. The price can't be beat for what I got. Their on my favorites list for sure.
PROS: The connectors come apart quite easily which allows easy construction of custom length cables.
The sleeving is silly- no need for it but that is not a true reason to lower the rating.
My power supply simply lacked the number of sata power I needed for all my drives, however it had a molex...So I just looked up the wattage spec and went with this...
Plugged it in, and it worked without any messing around.
PROS: Allows one to split one molex power between multiple sata drives
