Functioned as advertised...

Just what I needed to add a hard drive to my desk top.

Bought them to keep them handy, for when needed.

Got a new computer and installed a harddrive from my last computer. Immediately saw an increase (like 3x) in boot times. In installing the old hardrive I only had an older SATA cable. Bought this cable as it had 1) attached locking latch 2) supported SATA Revision 3.0 for data transfer speeds of up to 6 Gbps. Boot time decreased dramatically near pre-installation speeds. I think the hardrive it self is causing the slight increase from original boot time. Monoprice is the place to come for high quality cables at a very inexpensive price.Definitely recommend this product.

It works perfectly with the second Blu-ray Berner I have.

i have a old large tower, wth 6 bays 2 for dvd & 3 for sata drives
for cloning - I purchased 3 SATA III 3.5" Hard Disk Drive Rack Bracket, That allow me remove the hard drives with a key or
turn them off with power switch I only turn them on when
i need to clone.

This length of this sata cable is what i need for it reach the hard
drive to plug into the motherboard

they well made, better then previous cables
if i need them again i will order from you again
