I needed a four slot keystone plate with VGA for an HDMI, Toslink, 3.5mm, and Cat 6 keystone and none of these are able to fit side by side. You can put one on top and the other on the bottom but NOT side by side so two openings are basically useless. They should have made this with only 2 Keystone slots. I give it two stars because if you use one top slot and one bottom slot and then use blanks in the other two it will work but why not just make one with only two slots. That would cosmetically look much better than having to use blanks. There is one scenario that I can see all four slots being used which is with the RCA keystone jacks. Since those jacks do not have sides then there should be no issue fitting them side by side. Anything else, forget it.
PROS: Nice to have VGA with some extra keystone slots available
CONS: Only two slots useful at a time leaving the other two slots wasted.
Monoprice should be ASHAMED for selling this! Zero stars!
This product is horrendously engineered and is not fit for the purpose it is being sold. There are no keystones that will actually fit in this product side-by-side that monoprice sells other than blanks. If I wanted a wall plate with just a VGA connector on it and a bunch of blanks, I'd buy a simple VGA wall plate! PIDs 7297, 6852, 6562, 6566, and 6568 are all INCOMPATIBLE with this plate. The ONLY keystone that monoprice sells that is compatible with this unit is 6539 the blank insert! UNACCEPTABLE GARBAGE!!!!!
PROS: There are absolutely no pros to this product. This product is PURE JUNK and was never tested on any keystones whatsoever!
CONS: This product is HORRENDOUSLY engineered! There are literally NO KEYSTONES that will fit in this product side by side that monoprice sells.
HDMI (pid 6852)? Nope, too wide. USB (pid 6561)? Nope, also too wide! RCA (pids 6566 and 6568)? Nope, too wide again! Cat6 (pid 7297)? NOPE!
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FITS!! The problem is that, as engineered, the keystone jacks share a common wall like townhouses. So you literally *can't* fit keystones in side by side unless they're BLANKS! (Or if you shave off half the keystone jack making it fail, which isn't an option.)
My apologies for the inconvenient experience faced with this VGA wall plate. I will submit a complaint regarding the keystone fit issues so our product team can look into this matter further. For now, I can assist you in setting up an RMA to return both plates purchased. Proceeding with the return would be of no additional cost to you. Please let me know if you are interested in setting that up and I will get that going. I truly apologize again for any trouble this may have caused and I hope this helps.

I've had this installed for nearly a year with no issues.
PROS: • Most space-efficient solution for keystone plate including VGA available from Monoprice.
• Easy installation for casual DIY-er.
CONS: • Keystone jacks are a bit tight and some connectors are hard to fit in (I had to file down at least one connector to fit it in).
• Would be better without Monoprice logo for a more discrete installation.
Fortunately Monoprice has great customer service and provided a refund, but it is a hassle to have to wait to complete your project. I have seen other reviews were folks did sanding/filing to make things fit....... i will be hesitant to order an wall plate with keystone blanks from Monoprice again.
PROS: looks pretty
CONS: Keystone jacks sold by Monoprice don't fit in the keystone openings
I like others have had to file down the keystone pieces to fit them into this plate. However, I couldn't get around that as this is the only version of the plate with VGA that I am aware of through Monoprice. I really am happy with the product, but the improvement would be the widen the space between the keystone pieces.
I purchase this plate along with four keystone jacks: 3.5mm audio, HDMI, Cat6 Punchdown - Blue, Cat6 Punchdown - Red. The problem is that most if these modules cannot be placed in the holes next to each other without filing down some of the plastice, especially the Cat6 modules which certainly cannot be placed next to each other. All that is required to fix this is that the side by side hole be spaced out a little but more.
PROS: The plate is sturdy and the VGA port is well made.
CONS: Not all types of keystone jacks can be used together on this wall plate. I wish the 3.5mm audio was also pre-made into this wall plate along with the video.
