Powers my computer and saves space

In order to have room to connect Cat5e and Cat6 cabling in our limited depth server racks, we have to mount the rails as far back as possible and these angled connectors allow us the much needed space.
Because we have to change orientation of equipment due to door swing left or right, it would be ideal if these were offered in both Right Angle and Left Angle, but you can't have everything! They still work out great, but we have to swap to the the 6ft option offered by Monoprice in some circumstances. Not a problem, a good value.

Well made and timely delivery. Helped me clean up a lot of AC clutter.

I am sure the cord is fine for certain purposes, but it did not work for me as the female portion had a different three-prong configuration and this was not identified, as I recall, in the description.

Excellent value and very useful. They come in two gauges and many lengths.

Solid cable. It is just what I needed for a tight space

PROS: Great if you are looking for a 30.75 inches long 18AWG right angle power cable.

CONS: It's NOT a 36 inch long cable as description states

I order cables based on their specs so when I see a cable listed as being 3 feet long, I would expect the cable to be 3 feet long and not 30.75 inches long. You NEVER count the plug ends as part of the total length unless you're a shady business trying to cut corners in order to boost profit. Even if one were to be a complete idiot and count the length of the cable plus the connectors including the L right angle end and blades, you still only make it to 34.5". This is not a one off either as I have purchased three and all three were that short.

You might not think it's such a big deal but when I built up this rack, I measured twice and a real 36" cable would have left me with 2" to spare but now I will have to buy cables that are twice as long and have the clutter of an extra 36" of cable per run times the three runs. Monoprice, what is the purpose of short cables if they're too short?
