I'm wall mounting a TCL TV that has a similar power cable, but I need a longer run to be able to hide it better. Will this work?

BEST ANSWER: This cable worked great for me. I needed some extra length and this did the trick. I am not familiar with your particular TV, but as long as the profile matches, you should be all set. You can't beat the price. Good luck.

Some devices required a polarized cord. Make sure the TV cord does not have a square lone. I order a polarized cord which is less common and Monoprice sent me a non polarized cord I did not use.

spacing on holes is a smidge over 1/2" . in . holes are same size as 16 ga. wire, double the thickness of a paper clip. This will fit most power supplies, tv.s, appliances, that have 2 PRONG NON POLAR POWER CARDS (plug blades are both the same size) . too big for razors . hope this helps

According to UL a 18 ga, power cord less than 50 ft. can carry 10 AMPS !!! UL is the standard (Underwriters Laboratory).

BEST ANSWER: As long as the connector on the cord fits, and the power consumption does not exceed the maximum current draw of the cord (10 Amps) it will work. Check the lamp first for the specs on the current.

Does the job
My home theater speakers came with only a 6 foot cord for each speaker. In 2 cases the cord was not long enuf to reach the available outlet where I wanted to place the speaker. Rather than use an extension cord for each speaker, I just wanted a longer speaker cord. Monoprice was recommended to me and I was able to buy 2 10 foot cords from them. Problem solved at a much lower price. Thank you Monoprice.

Bought this as a gift for my partner. Now they can finally roam all over their room, laptop in hand, as nature intended. Sweet freedom!
(Seriously though, the cable arrived fast and feels solidly-made. Lots of reinforcement around the connector ends. I expect it'll last us a while.)

Works well on transferring electrons, doesn't fit well.
As you can see in the picture, I need to use tape to prevent weight from pulling it out of my TV. It doesn't fit tightly into my TV's plug in.
