Will this work for an 85" Sony TV? The VESA Pattern is 600x400, and the weight is 102.5 lbs. It seems as though this mount should work, but I see it says only up to 70" TVs.
Yes, this item would work for a TV with those specs since the weight and VESA pattern would determine whether or not a mount can work with a certain TV.

Will this work for a 55 inch LG OLED TV model 55EC9300 with a curved screen? If yes, which size do I need, medium or large?

BEST ANSWER:Thank you for your question. Looking into your TV it only uses 2 mounting points. With this mount since you would only have 2 mounting points it would not be able to use the bottom spacers on the TV to prevent it from being angled and touching the wall. The user manual of your TV recommends to use LG's mount OSW100. I hope this helps.

This is very low profile, but not great for large TVs with their mounting points low down. I have a 65" Sony A8H and the tilting function is useless (TV only tilts about an inch out at the bottom), and and getting the hanging brackets to lock to the bar is impossible (can't fit my hand behind the TV once it hooks onto the mounting bar).
Great mount for the price. I wish I had bought the bigger one.
The mount is great for the money and works great but I could have used the large one which since my studs were not on 16" it would have given me more flexibility. I had to drill 2 holes to hit studs. My TV from the wall to the front of the screen is just under 4". Kickstand makes it pretty easy to wire with a little planning.
Very slim. It feels scary, because there is so little to it, but really, as long as you screw the mounting plate into a stud, and have the tv screws secure as well, what more do you need. Great value!
The mount is for Samsung MU8000 55 inch TV. Pretty easy to install. Drill 4 holes and crank 4 bolts. Built in level is nice touch. The screws attaching bracket to TV doesn't seem to be the right size so I had to not use the lower spacers and only use the top hooks which isn't really a problem because the TV is 38.5 lbs.
Hooking the TV + bracket to wall plate requires pulling the release straps. The straps are short so this takes a little work.
I personally couldnt get this mount to line up with my studs location. Other mounts have closer cutouts in the steel, try others. Its truly unfortunate though, I did really like the simplicity of this mount. FYI though, this mounts screws would not fit into my new samsung KU7000 40" tv. Had to go to hardware store for longer metric screws.
This is the easiest TV mount I've ever installed. I had a friend here to help and didn't need him. He got free beer.
PROS: 65 inch TV looks like a paiting on the wall the Bracket is really long, allowing you to slide TV left or right to hit your mark. this mount is good for any Verses patern . They should just put all on the package.
CONS: it's so flush with the wall check and see if you inputs Mainly HDMI are on the side of the TV or straight out the back. If out the back buy HDMI angeled adapter
Used this on my new 60" vizio e60-c3. Looks great, and easy to install. The only thing that could be improved is the straps to lock it in place could be a little longer for big tvs, as it was difficult to pull and release with the tv back. Also, the level is way off, but I think most mounts with built in levels are not level.
