I didn?t used it. I don?t know if I order it wrong but the one I want is the big adaptor to install in my mixer but too small the one I received

I needed an inexpensive solution to add bass extension to a set of powered Jamo S 801 PM speakers that provide a RCA jack for an external powered subwoofer.

I had an Altec Lansing ACS 160 subwoofer which only has an 3.5mm stereo audio input jack. (This subwoofer was part of an old PC speaker set from the 90s.)

Using this Monoprice adapter, which bridges the left and right channel into a single mono line output with a RCA subwoofer cable provided the perfect solution to connect the old ACS 160 to the Jamos, greatly improving their bass response.

Works as intended

Bought DSP for subwoofers that had 1/8” input and outputs, it came with wires that had 1/8” on one end and RCA on the other with about 12” wire, now this works it doesn’t make for a clean install.

Monoprice is the best! They sent the exact connector that I needed as quick as a flash. I couldn’t find it in town anywhere, and I needed a way to run audio from my desktop computer to a very old mono speaker setup. This did the trick.

The left and right terminals are completely shorted. Therefore if you plug this in the output of your phone or another device, it will short the amplifiers, either triggering the short protection of the device or just burning it.

I was hoping to find 20-30 ohm resistors, but nope - just wired together.
