Hello everyone! Can I use this to connect two clip mics? Sorry! I am kind of new at this. :-)

BEST ANSWER: You plug each of the mics in to one branch of the cable, then plug the cable in to whatever your recording device is.

This is TRS, which means it doesn't support microphones. Look for TRRS.

BEST ANSWER: I'm sure there are other Y-cords that split the signal but this one is stereo to stereo. Just like it says "to Two 3.5 Stereo Jack"s.
I use one half for my computer speakers and the other half goes to a local FM transmitter, that also transmits in stereo, but I listen to it, mostly talk radio, throughout the house on table radios that are monaural.

Is this bi-directional? I have two inputs going to one output into the amp.

BEST ANSWER: My experience with bi-directionality is not great. I initially tried it for using either my laptop sound or my phone sound going into a desk speaker, but when one was playing, interference would be coming up the other end, and the output did not sound as good as if it were just one cable. YMMV, but it might be best to use a mixer.

wasn't lucky this time
It seemed to split the audio fine, but when a friend starting watching a youtube video before I got my headphones on, I noticed the sound was still coming out of the pc speakers. Not sure what the problem was. Looked just like the previous splitter, but the old one still works right and this one didn't. Not going to try and return a $0.99 splitter. Just going to try elsewhere.
