BEST ANSWER:Thank you for your question. We would not carry in wall rated USB cables. I would recommend searching an online marketplace for such a cable. However, USB signals are require a repeater past 15ft. If your run is longer than 15ft then you may want to go the route of using an Active USB extension cable, such as PID 16377.

I purchased this with a 30 foot USB extension cable. This keystone jack worked great. However I'm not sure why they only sell it as a "female to female", it can't be hooked up to a standard USB cable. You will have to buy (as I did) a short USB male to male cable to connect it together. But with the 30' extension, 1.5 foot male to male and this jack, everything worked great, No connection problems at all.
This has worked well enough. It is very convenient. However, I had two of these and now they are both broken. One for sure was broken by my four year old from trying to put in a USB controller incorrectly. I have since spent some time making sure they know to do it right. Not an expensive part, but I don't want to have to be replacing it frequently. So just be aware if it is something that will be plugged in an out frequently, make sure whoever will be doing that knows how to put it in correctly, because it can break easily.
Using this combined with PID 5443 (6ft USB 2.0 A Male to A Male 28/24AWG Cable (Gold Plated)) to get USB 2,0 through a wall. Works great, using with bluetooth dongle to greatly increase bluetooth reliability at distance (read through walls and lots of noise) from my machine
Compact and handy don't forget the male-to-male cable!
This is great when paired with an active USB 2.0 extender cable. However, the keystone is female-to-female, and Monoprice long-range extender cables are female to male and unidirectional (with the female end needing to be upstream), so you can't use the two together unless you bridge them using a separate male-to-male cable (I used a 5444 10ft cable as my wall fish, and then connected the female end of the extender cable to that....could have used something shorter, but the price difference was negligible).
Not a big deal, but wish I had realized that before I lost a week so now you can learn from my mistake!
PROS: Small footprint, cable can be installed in gang box without excessive crimping of the cable.
CONS: Would be nice if it could be a LITTLE bit shorter, end-to-end, to provide even more strain relief on the cable connector.
PROS: Excellent products and great pricing. We have been extremely happy with all of our orders. Shipping is also very quick to get here even our international orders.
