Do the TV brackets come as separate pieces from the wall mount or is this all one singular piece?

BEST ANSWER: There are essentially three pieces. Two of them mount on the tv. those are the angled pieces in the picture. The other is the wall mount. Once these are mounted separately, the tv is lifted and placed onto the wall mount. There is a final piece the is placed in a slot once the tv is mounted. This will prevent the tv from being able to be lifted up and off the wall mount.. This is a great safety feature.

They are seperate. You mount the plate to the wall and the brackets to the back of the tv. Then hang the tv to the plate. Simple as that.

It is 2 pieces. Normally you attach the wall bracket to the wall, then the pieces on the TV and then hang and you are good to go!

How big are the brackets? I'm worried about them showing at the top or bottom of my 40" tv

So the product listing for the MT-52 mount (32" to 52") says "VESA Patterns Up to 400x400". But the installation guide lists only specific VESA patterns "100x100 / 100x200 / 200x200 / 400x500". Is this just an editorial oversight or will this mount not work with my incoming TV, which needs 300x200 ?

BEST ANSWER: Due to the extra width of the wall plate, the horizontal screw spacing can be "up to" 500mm, but will work just fine at 400mm. The vertical screw spacing is limited to 400mm.

For the price, this a great mount.
It really helps if you know what you're doing, but if you're somewhat handy you can save a ton using the mounts monoprice sells. They are just as good as the expensive mounts, but might take a slight bit more work to mount just right.

Looks and works great
Easy to install. It took me 30 minutes to install. Holds my 50" TV perfectly. Only thing was, I needed to cut of 1/4 in from the handle, which tighten it up. Slight modification. But to my surprise those handles made from metal. I will buy it again, if needed.

My second one - good, with caveats
I've used this mounting bracket with both a 49" TV and most recently a 65" TV. While the title says this works with up to 52" TVs, the description says up to 125 lbs. I also have my soundbar mounted to the TV using separate brackets underneath these. This is a very solid mount.
The 2 caveats:
1. Because of the design, any wall plates must fit the openings in the back of the bracket. So there really is no way to move the bracket a bit higher or lower, or left or right. I haven't had a problem since the TV bracket has provided me with enough wiggle room. Just something to think about.
2. It is not a wide mount, so like me, it's very possible that you will only have one stud to use. Mine was between two wall plates, and the next studs (right and left) were beyond the bracket. So I used the provided lag bolts for the studs, and bought toggle bolts to use in the drywall. You may want to see where your wall studs are and plan accordingly.
I've been happy with the two mounts I have purchased and would get them again knowing the caveats above.

Good product okay for the price
This product is perfect for the new 40 in Samsung TVS in my kids room. Only problem is, for this TV the screws that come with it or not long enough. I had to go out to local hardware store to buy longer ones. The size I needed 8 x 35. Hopefully in the future they will consider including these in the mouth Packaging.

Nice product, great price.
The mount was easy to install. I had to purchase different screws for attaching the TV(Sony). The open center area was the exact height of an outlet cover so it fit right over the existing outlet.

nice mount
This mount is solid. for 20 bucks cant be beat. however i had to buy screws for my tv. the ones included werent long enough and the spacers were too big. but if they were to include hardware for every tv, it would be expensive and have a ton of hardware
PROS: easy install. solid mount
CONS: limited hardware included but who cares. i had to buy .80c worth of screws no biggie.

A solid bracket
Exactly what I expected. You wont find a better mount for $20. I even keep it outside, still looks good.
