The voltage is correct but you need to check the polarity. This adapter puts minus on the center pin. Look on the side of younprinter and see if it shows + on the center pin or + on the outside pin...,theres often a little picture. If it show + on the outside this one will work....otherwise it will not.

No. This adapter doesn't put out enough power plus, the polarity of a pedal supply is backward from normal. The tip is ground and the barrel is hot. Most stuff is the other way around. Be sure and check what your label maker requires.

IF your labelmaker needs 9 volts AND takes a center negative adapter, then this should work.

I'm using this 500mA adapter to power a Zoom RT-223 drum computer, on a near-daily basis; no problems at all. However, I don't typically run any of my pedals with A/C current, preferring D/C current from batteries instead.
I tested this adapter with a "vintage" late 1980s Boss digital delay pedal, and it worked well, though the adapter added a little extra noise to the signal (could be the house). I always prefer the most quiet signal I can get , so haven't used the adapter to power FX pedals regularly, or at a variety of locations.
Obviously, the pedal's voltage requirements should match what the adapter supplies.

Your pedal is DC powered battery or wall adapter. The milliamp rating of your supply needs to be higher than the milliamp rating of your pedal or the total of all your pedals if you're powering more than one. If your effect pedal needs 400mA and your supply is 500mA rated, you're good.

Think of the current rating (in millamps) as a maximum capacity. At the correct voltage and polarity, a 500ma power supply will work for a 300ma application with the likely benefit of producing less heat.

The output is rectified, not regulated. If you are looking for a clean sine wave then a regulated voltage supply source generator like those used at schools would be more appropriate especially for Oscilloscope measurements and such. These work great for guitar accessories. I also use lightning rated transient clamping surge protection to protect my stuff from frying from an anomalous voltage spike. Hope this helps.

I purchase and recommend this Monoprice # 611690 regulated 9V power supply for low-noise operation of our piezoelectric guitar products. I also recommend the Monoprice # 4794 10 foot stereo cable for low-noise stereo signal routing of piezo and magnetic guitar signals. Mark - Brenner Guitar Products

What are the physical dimensions? I would prefer to get something that won’t take up too much space.

Do you know more exact dimensions? I’m thinking of buying a bunch of these for all my pedals and plugging them all into one power strip.

This adapter works for Laney mini 2x3 amplifier ??
A shopper
on Feb 6, 2020
BEST ANSWER: No. This adapter provides 9 volts and 500mA. The specs on the Laney mini 2x3 amplifier power adapter says it's 12 volts and 750mA so this wouldn't provide enough power to run it. This adapter is primarily used for guitar pedals.
