What's the fret radius of this capo?
Francois L

BEST ANSWER: Great question. I don't have the exact dimensions but I use on standard electric guitars ranging from a Les Paul baseball bat neck on down. Gets a little buzzy if the radius gets too much below 9. Works fine on my 11 LP

It lines up best with my 20" gauge. For playing with, I t fits snug enough to use on necks down to 13"-14", though you may need to fiddle for an ideal position. I have three guitars below this tolerance, at 7.5", 9.5", 10" and there's not enough PSI in the spring to decently fret both high and low E. Though I personally would prefer the spring had approximately 15% more PSI. But for the money, it's far better than many of the less expensive capos available elsewhere for sure.

I know this doesn’t quite answer your question but I have a Breedlove passport series acoustic and the capo works as it should. Honestly though, these capos are so cheap, it’d make for a great backup capo, at the very least.

For flat (classical) or ratioused fingerboards?

BEST ANSWER: i don't play nylon string (classical) guitars much. But, this capo has been perfect for all of my steel string acoustic guitars! no string buzzing or over-clamping on either side of the neck.

It made for radiused fingerboard. To use it with classical guitar, just put a thin flat piece of material under the rubber. I used for both type on guitars.

Decent capo a good price
This capo works as well as any other capo I have used. There was one minor problem initially. There was a sharp point at the top of the capo that was uncomfortable to my hand. Since the metal is relatively soft, it was easy to file the sharp point to a smooth surface.

Capo
It works decently, but still requires some moving around to get the "just right" spot on different fret locations. Excellent buy for the price. Would buy again.
