What is the radius? I want to replace the bridge on mine. The specs say 350mm or 13.8" but that doesn't seem right. Many of the options are not adjustable, so it needs to be accurate.
Will this take a Mustang bridge? I have a spare laying around.

BEST ANSWER:I've put a Mustang bridge (Mustang *style* would be more accurate) on mine and haven't noticed any issues. It fit perfectly. *note:despite many years of playing, I'm not good enough to pick up on many things real players notice right away.

Does this guitar have the jazzmaster type pickups or do the have the true P90's? I'm thinking on getting this guitar but I don't want a real bright sound. I don't have an offset so I'm thinking on this one.
My OS40 DLX did not arrive with a trem bar so I sourced one from Amazon---it's a standard 5mm with no threads. The bridge was extremely loose (which is normal for a Jazzmaster-type guitar), but the posts AND the sleeves were way too sloppy. Fixed that with some aluminum foil tape. The trem on this model is one way only (tunes downward) and cannot be made to float--like real Jazzmasters--due to the spring being too strong. I replaced the spring with a much weaker version and now it floats and actually stays in tune very well. Last, the bridge is the vintage version which looks like it was made from threaded rod, and the strings will easily shift position when strumming hard. The remedy is a steeper break angle which requires tilting the neck slightly with shims or (like I did) installing a Micro-Tilt device like on real Fenders. This increases the downward pressure on the saddles and along with 11-50 strings the whole thing works great. The body on mine is 2 piece solid wood--not a bunch of scraps like on many cheap guitars--and the fingerboard is exceptional. No shielding under the pickguard but it's an easy fix. Even with the extra work this guitar is a bargain.
The sounds and playability of this guitar is just amazing! I don't know how they can build such a quality instrument for such a low price. This P90's sound incredible for the price.
This was my 2nd Indio purchase and I was blown away by this guitar right out of the box. Set-up and intonation were near perfect. I just tuned it up and it was ready to go. Action was low, frets smooth like butter. Never mind the low price, this is one of the best guitars I've bought, period! I also bought the Cali DLX strat. The OS40 set-up and sound is way better in comparison. I got a winner with this one.
The setup was great right out of the box with perfect intonation string hight etc. At this price, I didn't expect its quailty to be this high. This Indio makes my Mexican Fender Strat (bought 20 years ago) look like a piece fo junk That said I did adjust the tremlo tension, tightened the tuners and polished the fret edges. I love the way the Indio feels. and the P90 pickups add a unique sound to my inventory.
Wish I could have bought a guitar this good this cheaply 35 years ago!
Super fun little guitar. Can't beat the price. Everything works great and arrived quickly. Same shockingly good quality I've now come to expect from Monoprice guitars. The only better value out there is also from MP.
Very impressed overall. The body seems very slightly smaller than an actual JM but the finish is beautiful and it fits very well higher up on the torso. The neck is a bit pale but not as white as it is in the photos on the website. The setup was right on out of the box, 100% ready to play. Stays in tune fairly well, the tuners are a little sticky but do the job. The trem is very impressive, very reactive and holds tuning after lots of wahs. The bridge is terrible, only truly bad piece of hardware on it, so buy it along with a tuneomatic for replacement. The P90 alder mix has a real brightness and presence. I have a Gibson with p90s that is very rich with a very fully midrange, whereas the Indio has more of a twang on the highs and bite on the lows.
