Immediately the connection wasn't strong enough and any small movement of the cable would cause the display to be lost. No more than 15 minutes of use later, after another lost connection caused us to plug it back in, the connector piece broke off, leaving simply wires and it became unusable. I bought this cable for work purposes and "commercial series" usually means long lasting, but that was certainly not the case with this product. I still love you Monoprice, but please up you QC.
Used these cables inside my walls for no compromises in signal quality. Because of the thickness, I found myself using right angle HDMI port savers with 8 inch HDMI ports savers when connecting to wall plates. When connecting to the back of a tv, I used a HDMI coupler and a 3 foot metallic HDMI cable to give me the flexibility I needed.
PROS: Quality. Price.
CONS: Thickness. I recommend you at get port savers for the ends.

PROS: Very high quality. Would buy from them and have recommended to others.
This cable works well for lengths over 10 feet. I ran the cable in the ceiling and down the wall from my projector to my receiver. I initially hooked up swivel adapters on both sides as suggested by other reviewers. But when I lost signal, I had to check each connection to make sure they were tight. I eventually got rid of all my swivel adapters and got a more stable connection.
PROS: Great for lengths over 10 feet where thinner gauge high speed HDMI is not available.
CONS: Thick and inflexible. Use wide bends and avoid flexible adapters which just add potential connection problems.
Cable is really very nice and very comparable to other high-end cables at a fraction of the retail price. It doesn't look as cool as cables costing hundreds of dollars (it's just plain black), but then again I prefer a nice pic on my TV and don't generally spend time looking at my cables, and I also like the savings. Keep up the good work MonoPrice!
PROS: Very well built cable. Much less expensive the cables found Home Depot or Best Buy.
CONS: Cable is very thick - like 3/4"! Be sure you have room to run it through things. Doesn't look as cool as cables costing hundreds of dollars (it's just plain black).
You canbt get a better cable for the money. Don't waste your money on Monster cables. You would just be paying for their marketing. The Monoprice cables are extremely well built, and are very reliable. I would buy them again.
