BEST ANSWER: It's adjustable so it should fit when I received mine I wasn't sure it would fit because my AKG P120 is pretty thick but you can widen the mount and its fits just fine and is really secure

it's a clamp grip, should fit any mic really. Just squeeze the clamps and slide the mic in.

Does anyone know if this fits an Apogee Hypemic? The Apogee HypeMic is about 38mm in diameter and this says 40mm is the smallest it can accommodate- but wondering if anyone has actually tried to see if it fits.

A tight squeeze
Bought this for my RE20 and it fits nice but sometimes while placing the mic inside of it the rubberbands will fall out of their hooks, but it's a quick fix.

Stage Right by Monoprice Universal Shock Mount
This shock mount is not really universal, as it does not comfortably accommodate my Samson SAC01850 C01 Condenser microphone. This is a common low-priced condenser for home studios. I will make it work, but calling it "universal" is a stretch.

Not very Universal. Not much room for opening up to different mics.
Didn't fit my rode nt1 hardly at all and squeezing it barely opens it up

Sennheiser MD421 mic in MonoPrice universal shockmount
I bought this shock mount in the hopes that it would fit a Sennheiser MD421 mic. That mic is sort of square with rounded corners and a tapering body. The taper varies with where you are on the body. This shock mount is intended for a round-bodied mic. However I was able to put the 421 in there and it holds it firmly. I would have no hesitation using it for this purpose, especially as mounts of any type for the 421 are expensive. I haven't tried the mic yet so I don't know how effective the shock mount is at isolating bumps and thumps, etc. I like "squishy" shock mounts and this one is firm. We'll see.

Sennheiser MD421 in MonoPrice shockmount.

Great mount
I’m giving this product five stars due to the great quality of materials and construction.
As-is, it doesn’t meet my personal needs. I want to use it with my Heil Amateur Radio mics, but the don’t fit the mount due to the way they are made. That said, I will adapt it to my needs.
Al in all, though a fine product!
