Holds a mic. Really heavy base. The heaviest rig I?ve used on it is a Monoprice ribbon mic which came with a smaller shock mount - about 1 1/2 lbs total. I place this under a piano to capture resonance. It works great for that. Very stable.

So far, so good. I really don't move it around that much so I don't know if it would hold together well if constantly being moved. I keep it primarily in front of my main recording tube amp. It works fine in that scenario.

Heavy duty stand good quality.

I am currently using this device as a mic stand for a kick drum mic to record bass guitar. It is very sturdy and doesn't fall over. I'm definitely impressed, especially for the price.

Extremely heavy duty base and well made stiff flexible neck that's perfect for one of my desktop mics.

The stand base arrived quickly and is exactly as advertised. It works great as a small mic stand, or as a new base for a lamp that had one of those crappy concrete in plastic bases that turn to dust. Works great!

I bought two of them and one of them the threading for the gooseneck does not attach to the base, so if you pick it up by the gooseneck it just falls apart.

This is a very well made and sturdy desk top microphone stand. I am currently using it for a web cam, but it would have no trouble holding a much heavier microphone.

We are connecting our team in online meetings, the gooseneck is ideal, low profile, can be placed in front of the monitor, very happy with it
