BEST ANSWER: No no it does not come with a bag but for a truss and stand system that is 10 ft wide and expands the 12 and a half feet high at the price of they give it to you for and the quality of what it is you can buy bagged separately and there are companies that sell those but I am very impressed with the quality of what Monoprice cell of their products and the prices are unbelievable so it gives you a discount to buy other products from other companies to go along with and hats what you buy from them check them out

Mine did not you're looking at something that expands to 10 w i d e by 12 and a half foot tall if you want a bag to carry that in you need to look at companies that carry that type of bags for that type of equipment I am very impressed with what I bought as far as my rack and everything was more than what I expected especially at the price I was so impressed I bought two more and you cannot beat the price on for something of this quality

BEST ANSWER: the truss is 10 feet ... but with the legs extended you'll need at least 12 feet of floor width ... 14 feet would be much more stable though (wider leg extension)

The lighting stand spans a length of 10ft. The telescoping stand will go up to 12 ft in height.

BEST ANSWER: yes ... 2 full stands with a wide footprint ... 2 cross-trusses with a center join bracket ... and 2 T-poles ... pleasant surprise is it's bigger than I expected ... the truss span-width and height are substantial

The truss, top T bars and 12FT. stands are all included. The directions for assembly aren't much but if you have assembled stands like this before the are easy to figure out.

Are you able to purchase an additional truss and connect it to the other two? This is perfect for my band but it needs to be longer than 10ft.

You can. I have two sets and often set it up with three sections. I would not go four though. It also depends on what you are hanging on it. I have hung 16 PAR64 LED (by ADJ) from the three sections and 14" mirror balls and motors from both ends on the T bars.

You could possibly do this by getting additional pvc parts from Home Depot, but honestly, 20 feet is a long way and I doubt it would hold well, especially if you put lights on it. Probably better to buy two sets and just set them close.

Other brand trusses dont fit monoprice stands. Unless it is offered by monoprice it wont fit.

Before you buy parts for something that will be over people's heads, check the load rating. Check the grade on the bolts. If you got to a hardware store, make sure you get the same grade or higher. Otherwise you will liable for whatever happens since you as the user replaced the manufacturer's parts.

I would think so if they weren't super heavy. I'd want to keep them close to the stands and put some weights on the legs of the stands though. I've had quite a bit of weight hanging from this system without any problems.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, the twp 5' sections are identical. For the NAMM show 2 years ago I did the 2 sections on top of each other due to limited space.

BEST ANSWER: It appears not. I have this model O-clamp and it does not fit (it is too small with the 1.5in adapter and too large without an adapter).

Does part number 601000 (Monoprice 1, 1.5, 2 in. O-clamp) fit this truss? I have the ADJ brand O-clamp of the same size options as well as metric O-clamps (36mm), neither of which fit. This pipe diameter of this truss kit seems to be 1.5 inches but based on the ADJ O-clamp not fitting, I wonder if it is slightly larger and non-standard in size. The specifications are not in the product manual, which consists solely of setup instructions.

First one I was shipped had a piece broken where you screw in to tighten the poles after adjusting, had to ship the whole giant thing back to get that one piece replaced, but second one was fine & lasted a while (probably 20-25 gigs). This past Saturday a screw that holds one of the lower leg stabilizers popped out and as a result that leg slowly slipped out far enough during the show that at the end, the stand tipped over of its own fruition and wrecked $700 worth of lights. Wasn't much weight on it (chauvet colorband pix usb & beamer 6), but it went boom regardless & destroyed them both. Going with a cheaper truss system turned out not to be so cheap after all.

Monoprice 12.5ft Lighting Stand System w/ Truss
Just what I needed to hold an position my lights. Before all the lights were on individual sands. CLUTTER and tripping hazard. Also, with a cross bar brace, it holds my screen.

Stands straight and tall!
I attached home made strip lights to the two bars on the top and strung a green string across it all. The back lighting on the green screen works great. The space behind the green screen is a great place to hide stuff; like empty boxes if you want to kill a hollow effect. It is a pain to put together at first and I was alone. A buddy might have made it easier. I highly recommend anyway!

Great for portable church
It is a little wobbly but for quick and easy use it then it's perfect. We had a few missing pieces.
