Would I be able to remove the 10M light mounting screw , if need be?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, The mounting screw is a ~1" long hex-headed bolt with a wingnut and washers on the outside. When you remove the plastic liner you will see the head, captured in the clamp body and supported by a steel spreader plate. I guess you could remove this and insert a screw from the outside into a nut on the inside, but you'd need to be able to turn the external screw, as the clamp body would probably make it impossible to turn the nut.

Yes, the mounting bolt can be removed. A 3/8" bolt can be used. I've uses a 5/16" bolt in these also for special applications. Place a "tang" or a "toothed" washer under the bolt head to lock in position

Yes.
I did because I have a few off brand units that use a smaller mount. you may need to be a bit creative though?
I used epoxy to secure my smaller bolt

Yes, you can. All you have to do is remove the sizing insert, and I would recommend adding a washer if you're going to a smaller diameter bolt.

Anyone used two of these together to clamp one pole onto another? What bolt length did you use?
I'm looking to set up a temporary movie screen using some lightweight poles. I'd adjust these two clamps at the desired angles and then re-insert the sizing collars to fit the appropriate pole sizes.

I bought this music stand from you- Monoprice Sheet Music Stand. The clamp no longer works. Would this product be compatible with it?

Does part number 601000 (Monoprice 1, 1.5, 2 in. O-clamp) fit this truss? I have the ADJ brand O-clamp of the same size options as well as metric O-clamps (36mm), neither of which fit. This pipe diameter of this truss kit seems to be 1.5 inches but based on the ADJ O-clamp not fitting, I wonder if it is slightly larger and non-standard in size. The specifications are not in the product manual, which consists solely of setup instructions.

Nice, Sturdy, and Affordable
We needed a bunch of these for lights at church, and these have worked really well. The heaviest lighting fixtures we use are about 2 to 3 pounds and this is holding it up, no problem. We also attached safety cables though just to be safe. These are cheaper than the name-brand stuff and when you need 20 of these, the savings add up. Definitely recommend.

How to fit three different pipe sizes.
It appears that the way to make it fit three different sizes of truss pipe is to swap out the inserts. It comes with two sizes of inserts. Large inserts and it will fit 2" pipe. Small inserts and it will fit 1" pipe. One of each and you'll get it to fit the 1.5" pipe. The build quality looks pretty good. The specs say that they'll hold 76 pounds, but I'd be afraid that the pin in the clamp side might pull out/crack at that weight.Always use a secondary safety cable around your light and the truss in case the clamp fails!

These are the bomb!
Same quality as the "name brand" makes that continue to rise in price every time you buy them. Same heavy, durable plastic you have come to know & love...only cheaper priced!

Work very well
For the price these work very well. I only used them for light weight 2-5lb lights so not sure about heavy weight lights. But for the LED fixtures I use they work great.
