The manual says it can be set via a switch on the back to turn off at the end of the album. Does it just stop playing with stylus in the groove or does the tonearm lift? Please clarify. Thanks

Mine does not shut off at all. The switch on the back is main power then you have a on/off by the tonearm. At the end of an album the tonearm just stays in the grove does not pick up or shut off. This is a basic turntable but it nice and tracks well.

I’m not aware of any element of auto stop in this turntable. The only switches I’m aware of on the back are the power switch and the preamp/line out switch.

What BT version is it?
A shopper
on Aug 8, 2023
BEST ANSWER: Page 12 of manual only mentions Bluetooth in the most generic form no spec or type is given for BT. I would assume it works with all BT receivers. Higher end BT built in receivers such as those in the WIIM mini type should give good performance.

I just bought the Monoprice 10w Pure Tube Preamp/Amp.
Fantastic amp if you swap out the Chinese tubes for 'real tubes'.
My question is can I use this turntable without it's built in preamp ???
I want to go straight from the cartridge to my new preamp. All analog....no solid state stuff between the vinyl and the
speakers.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, it has a switch on the back that allows you to choose between built in or external phono pre. I’m using an external pre right now in fact!

No. You need a phono preamp, either separate or built into the turntable, to get a signal to your tube amp. I'd suggest you start out with the built-in preamp to start, then look for a good solid-state phono preamp (and there are many, from under $100 to over $2,000) to connect to your amp's line input.

I think any standard mount catridge will fit the headshell and sincew there is an included alignment tool , a second or even thrid headshell could be used to mount another cartridge.

like it!
it seems very solid and sounds good - even the bluetooth. Easy to set up once I got over the mental block of the weight adjustment. I checked it after setup with a stylus weight & it was right on. I even really like the gloss black finish. It's just great listening to the records that have been left sitting for years (my AR turntable has languished - I got it in the 70"s and didn't really trust it). I honestly forgot how much I enjoyed them!

If you're even considering this turntable, don't hesitate, just buy it!
I LOVE my new Monolith turntable! This was my first turntable with counter and anti-skate weights. So I definitely had to read through the instructions a few times before I fully understood the steps necessary to get it set up, but my efforts certainly paid off. Operation is simple, and from the moment the needle touched the vinyl, I knew I had made the right choice. For the price of this unit, I was astounded by the accuracy and the soundstage it was able to produce. If you're considering stepping up from a basic automatic turntable, this is an excellent upgrade. The overall quality of the unit itself combined with the amazing sound it produces for an affordable price make this record player a slam dunk. I highly recommend.

Just buy it!
I am new into vinyl and started with a gifted record player.. it was on the cheaper side and wouldn't play all my records. When I figured out this was something I want to get into and invest in, I want a beautiful system, but can't shell out thousands right now.
My friend sent me a link to the youtuber "the Audiophiliac with Steve Guttenberg"and he reviewed this turntable as 'unbeatable for the money'... and it's true.
The turntable itself is gorgeous. I feel like I can really build a beautiful system from here and it sounds great as well. I already had Bose computer speakers, but that will be my next investment.
The quality so far is worth keeping this, and maybe someday pass it down to a child to enjoy as well, but for now, it's my pride and joy!
If you're on the fence, this is absolutely worth it... even to get started with!

Great price, quality build!
I bought two, one for each of my kids. These turtables are an outstanding value. Setup was fast and easy with the help of a stylus tracking force scale and the included protractor. The Bluetooth pairs with everything, so far. The cartridge sounds great for entry-level. The build rivals $400-500 models found on other "high-end" sites. Thanks for the deal!

Amazing audiophile turntable for the price!
Truly amazing how Monolith can seek such a high quality audiophile turntable at such a low cost! I have another top brand turntable I paid far more money for, and the Monolith turntable is at least as high quality and performs at least as well as it!!!

Music vs Recording
After 2+ weeks of use, I have found this turntable has improved the sound quality of what I have been using to where I am now more focused on the quality of the music, rather than the quality of the recording and playback. This brings me to a level where I believe I can be satisfied and not feel the need to keep upgrading. I am sure high-end systems can sound noticeably better, but I believe I have reached the level of diminishing returns.
