I bought this cable to connect a Raspberry Pi to a pvm. It was advertised as joining both sync signals ( horizontal and vertical) and it does, but with a Pi, it’s not all plug and play. If your image is clear but scrolls up, even if you adjust the vertical hold of your monitor, it means you are outputting VGA signal and not RGB. Not a big deal, but If you want to do so, you’ll have to configure your Pi to output RGB signal from a HD-15 connector, such as a Gert-666. If you don’t know/want to change the Pi’s output, you can also bridge both sync on the Gert-666. That’s what I did and it worked fantastic. If I’m lucky enough to get another pvm, I’ll most definitely buy that cable again!
