This is much smaller and lighter than the OEM charger block that came with my notebook. It works fine, and I don't get that annoying message from the PC that tells me I am undercharging because I have a low-power adapter attached.

My only wish to make it a 5-star would be.... an option to add a short plug option, as it is not always easy to find an outlet with the space for this adapter.

Great device, powers my Dell laptop, smart phone, and other devices all at once. Doesn't overheat. One of the best items in my backpack as I travel.

Mine stopped working after about 2 years. When this charger is pIugged in, it gets really hot and won't charge anything. I thought these things last longer than that.

This charger works really well and is a much better buy than competitors. The only improvement (1 star for improved) I can suggest is due to the weigh distribution and the lack of the third prong I had some challenges when using it on a plane or bus where the device can easily fall out of the outlet if there is a bump in the road/air or if gently bumped.
