BEST ANSWER: The mount position is at the bottom of the monitor and is awkwardly placed, making mounting to anything other than the supplied based a difficult option

Is G-Sync and or Free Sync supported?

BEST ANSWER: I just got this delivered. To my surprise, I was able to turn-on G-sync. There is an option to turn it on in the menu under 'Setup Menu' > 'Variable Refresh Rate' to ON. HDR is accepted but is color is not right.. SDR 10-bit 1440p 170hz.

BEST ANSWER: It came with a cable I didn't recognize that is specific to the monitor but wouldn't fit with my Mac Mini. So I used a HDMI cable which works fine

What is the color accuracy / color gamut?

So does it or does it not support G-Sync? A staffer reported "no" in 9/2023, but a verified purchaser in 11/2023 says it does. Perhaps there was a firmware update? Would Monoprice staff please confirm? If it has G-Sync, I'm buying it!

Nice monitor, but limited due to DDC/CI interface.
This monitor checks many "boxes", but misses a very important feature for me.
While it does have DDC/CI functionality, it lacks the ability to switch inputs. So software like ClickMonitorDDC and ddcutil cannot be used to switch inputs.
This makes it very inconvenient for my use case.
There was some work-arounds for older Dark Matter monitors and ddcutil, they do not apply to this newer model.
Note that it does appear to have variable rate refresh, but I did not test it.

Good monitor, bad stand
Monitor quality is good. Monitor stand is atrocious. No height adjustability and likes to wobble left and right.
