Does this allow the m1 or m2 to function with more that one monitor?!

BEST ANSWER: Unlikely. At best, you can have two monitors plugged into this and they will both show the same thing. At worst, only one monitor will work. I don’t know which case it will be. The problem is MacOS does not support putting more than one display stream onto a single cable. Putting two or more display streams on a single cable is called MST, multi-stream transport, in case you want to Google for more info.

I have a Dell Laptop with a USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4.0 port. Currently I am only able to get 4k @ 30hz thru my docking station using a HDMI cable. Will I be able to get 4k @ 60hz using a display port cable thru this dock?

BEST ANSWER: Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry. As long as your Chromebook has a USB-C port that will handle Data, Charging, and Video this would work well in all aspects.

Works flawless
Write your review here. It must be at least 10 characters long. Consider whether you would recommend this product and what you like or dI see bad reviews, but I have tested on a Windows 10 and on ChromeOS, PD power passthrough works fine and both DisplayPort ports work instantly. This dock has 2 USB-A and 1 USB-C, as it does have the other USB-C but that is for power input only. The USB-C is listed as 10GB but it doesn't mention Thunderbolt capabilities, and therefore, it should not be used as option to have a third monitor.islike about it.

Nope
Like others said - the DP ports do not output over USB-C, and the rest works.

Could not get dock to pass through display signal with my setup
I bought this dock to use with my HP Elitebook 845 G7 and an AOC CU34G2X monitor (3440x1440 res). While it worked great to charge the laptop and connect USB peripherals, I could not figure out how to get the display passthrough to work. I tried two different DP1.4 cables, turned on alt-mode on my laptop (although i think thats only needed for direct DP-USB-C monitor connections?), multiple restarts, etc. Hopefully others have better luck than me!
