Can the hieght of this monitor be adjusted?
A shopper
on Dec 20, 2023
No it can not be adjusted. I have a stand up desk and I feel that it should be raised at least 6-8" for it to be eye level. Standing in front of it at a comfortable level my eye level is at the top of the screen.

Not with the stock stand. The back panel is VESA 75x75, and so you can purchase a different mount/stand that is adjustable

I cannot see maximum resolution on my 2018 MacBook Pro 15”. I am using a Thunderbolt docker and Displayport 1.4 cable. The only way I can achieve 5120x1440 @ 120Hz is using software to tweak the display. Will there be a fix for this monitor at some point?

BEST ANSWER: You want to use a device that has an active Thunderbolt connection/cable. I believe, but you should validate, that your MacBook has 4 Thunderbolt ports, 2 on each side of the chassis. If you have a device to connect your MacBook to, plus an active Thunderbolt 3 cable, you should be good to go. Be aware, these are not inexpensive services.
The reason this monitor has 2 Display Port connections, plus 2 HDMI connections, is because you can connect up to 4 devices. So, for example, you could connect a MacBook to 1 DP, a Chromebook to the other DP, a PS5 to 1 HDMI, and an Xbox to the other HDMI. There is a switch on the bottom right of the monitor where you can switch between the 4 different inputs. You can also control other inputs like Contrast and Brightness there as well.

What is the best full range, full motion support arm for a edge secured arm for the Dark Matter 49" monitor? I see that the spec's list the weight at 32.6#. Is that with the stand that comes with it? if so, what is the weight of the monitor only?

BEST ANSWER: The Dark Matter 49in Curved Gaming Monitor -has a max resolution 5120x1440p, which is not 4k (3840 x 2160). For a monitor with these dimensions you'd likely need a 5k to keep the aspect ratio. Based on your question, you're either incorrectly seeing 4k @ 60Hz or your referring to a different monitor.

Turns out, specifically with the Microsoft Surface 4 laptop, the usb-c port is intentionally restricted to 4k resolution for some reason. If you use the Microsoft Surface Dock 2, with their proprietary cable, the dock allows for full 5k resolution and aspect. Looks great once that was solved.

Is it true this is 109 Pixel per Inch? If so, gamers will not be happy with that pixel density.

Great monitor for the right price point
Great monitor for productivity. Haven't tried it yet for gaming. This monitor paired with Microsoft fancy zones make working so much easier.

Great monitor
Great monitor, the stand was a bit tricky to put on. It is amazing for work, haven't tried games on it so far.

Great Monitor
If you hate the bezels in a dual monitor setup, get this monitor.
I also used the Monoprice Heavy Duty Arm.
So far so good I will try to update in afew months.

Great monitor for the price, but strange issues
Once it's dialed in, it looks beautiful but that's the problem -- it doesn't stay dialed in. I've had to re-do the picture calibration settings about 5 times now because they keep resetting back to default. HDR keeps turning off in the settings. And the color temp settings keep going back to default. Hopefully a firmware update fixes this

I bought the monitor because I'm a Consultant, and work from home. I really only needed more screen space, and didn't want multiple monitors. This is perfect for my application and have been very satisfied.
