While this may not be a speaker you throw in your backpack for it's heft (nearly a pound and a half), if you did, you could have quite a party in the wilderness, as it will fill a yard with sound. To my ear, it's a bit bass-y, even with the bass enhancement turned off, but I know that's preferable to some. I love the 3 signal sources, 1/8" jack, microSD card and bluetooth, and most bluetooth speakers don't give you the microSD option. Most bluetooth speakers also COST several times as much. You can't go wrong with this one!

It sounds like a really nice speaker placed in a heavy paper bag. The treble is vary weak and the upper bass is overdone. I was trying to upgrade a speaker from a tool company. Now I'm paying for return shipping

Even with no device connected, it makes an audible buzzing noise. I got it to use primarily with the aux connection, but plugging in the charge cable made it stop playing, and couldn't get it to recognize analog input at all after that.

I suppose if you use it with louder music on bluetooth you might be fine, but don't expect it to be rock-solid.

Short battery life, obscure controls and mediocre sound quality make this speaker disappointing.

After some initial trouble with the speaker dropping out and coming back on it is working adequately
