Certainly best in class for this price range. Frequency range listed on the package is 15 Hz to 25 kHz with 32 ohms impedance and sensitivity 94 dB +/- 3 dB.. Come with 3 meter cable and adapter form 3.5 mm to 1/4 ich one - gold plated. Bought two of these for viewing movies without the crappy wireless interference so the longer cable is great. They do not dissapoint, perhaps a bit bright sounding but I like it.

Oops my previous review was for different headphones and much cheaper ones. So please diregard it. As for these ones, the frequency range is not listed on the packaging. Still have not broken them in yet. They sound good but could have some more spaciness to them. As mentioned have not broken them in yet, so will see.

One section of the description says the earpads are faux leather and another section says lambskin. Which is correct?

BEST ANSWER: I recently purchased the 1070C headphones and from what I can tell, the headband is covered in faux leather while the earcups seem to be genuine leather. I hope all of the materials hold up over time because these are the best sounding headphones I’ve ever used.

Perfect for my needs
These are exceptional sounding headphones. They are heavy. So while I undoubtedly would recommend these for enthusiasts just be aware they are not versatile in applications. Trying to use these on a walk connected to a phone for example would not be ideal imo. I believe monolith has their tiers well thought out. For those not intending to use dedicated amplifiers, the 1060 series. Have a decent amp? 1070 series. Have a high end amp and into critical listening, 1570s.
I'm thoroughly enjoying my 1070c and look forward to them getting better with time as they break in.

Best sounding headphones
These are hands down the best headphones I have owned. They are well balanced and sound good at all volume levels. The rumbly bass is there as well as the high end and they also have really good instrument separation. They can get loud and still sound comfortable. They can be driven by a laptop and phone but using an amp helps.
They seem huge but once you wear them you forget about them and enjoy the music. I noticed they sound better with time i.e the longer you listen to them the better they sound -or it could just be my amp. I have nothing but good things to say about these headphones.

Good headphones.
Great headphones. A little more sound isolation and less weight could help but love the wide sound.

Excellent value for the money
Ok, so Iam not an audiophile, I just simply like good music, Iam going to explain it as well as I can.
The build quality is good, fine materials and good fit and finish. It?s a big headphone, so it?s a bit heavy.
The sound is best on acoustic music, and just average on rap/pop. Every instrument sounds so real, and the vocal is perfect. Probably that is the strongest part of the headphone. It feels like someone is singing right into my face. It feels so real!
The base is good and clear, but not strong enough for me many times, sounds like it is in the background. The mid and vocal are perfect. The high can be good or a bit synthetic, buzzing, it depends on the music.
A professional reviewer would give four star, but I love this headphone, and it is an excellent value for the money. You can find better sound, but you going to pay much-much more!
