Very heavy duty, great deal at this price point

The double-wide stand is excellent. It holds a ton of equipment and is very sturdy. I like the fact that the shelves are deep as I have some components that are deeper than normal components. Assembly is easy and one person can do it alone, although you will need a second person to help you carry it to its destination. If you will be setting the AV stand up on carpet, I recommend getting carpet furniture sliders to make moving easy once you have it assembled. Other AV stands I considered before purchasing this one were BDI, Salamander, and Solidsteel.

Love it! Just what I needed for my audio gear.

Solid and sturdy. Good looking and easy to put together. This stand easily holds my larger components that didn't fit in my old standard sized stand. I even left out one of the center poles in order to accommodate a center channel speaker and the stand is still rock solid even with a TV on top. Monoprice has done it again.
