Yes, with Apple’s FaceTime, but not with GoogleMeet. Haven’t tried it with Zoom.

A rip-off, even for it's rock bottom price
The picture quality is horrible. Even using it as a camera to capture a still picture you get a nasty pixelated image. COMPLETELY useless for video, the slightest movement makes the image quality so choppy it looks like an old 0.3MP Nokia camera phone in a room lit by a strobe light.

Ultra-wide angle
The product description says 70°, which is a nice, relatively small angle for an individual webcam. Yet the camera I received is clearly ultra-wide angle, nearly 135° with a high degree of fisheye distortion at the edges and totally washed out features in a Zoom call.. It is not what was described.

The upper image is about 70° from a different webcam. The lower image is from this webcam.

It works, that's about it
I have some issues with this camera:
1. The privacy cover does not come attached to it. You have to peel off a protective film and then stick the cover to the camera with the included adhesive padding. However, the padding is slightly too thick, which makes the circular privacy cover show up on the corners of the camera, producing an annoying vignette-like effect, at least on mine. Not sure if I just got unlucky of if all of them are like this. I ended up just removing the adhesive padding and supergluing the cover onto mine.
2. There's a little perforated circle on the adhesive padding. You have to punch out this circle to make room for the camera lens when you attach the cover to the camera itself. Punching out this circle requires enough force that it makes the adhesive padding slide around a little bit, which can make it off-center.
3. The bottom of the "foot" doesn't have a grippy rubber coating - it's just hard plastic. Also the hinge doesn't have much resistance. So the hinge tends to slip forward/backward from the weight of the camera or the weight/tension of the usb cable. I superglued velcro onto the camera and stuck it to the velcro on the top of my monitor because it wouldn't stay put.
The camera itself functions fine, but I'm not satisfied with the build quality. It's only $16 though, so not really worth the trouble to return it. I probably wouldn't buy it again but it works fine in a pinch.

good video image for the low price. the mics aren't very good but again at this price point they are fine & I wasn't expecting too much to begin with.

Fresh, but not minty fresh.
Works okay, but not well with Cheese. Tried it with vokoscreen, not much better; delay issues with audio synch and I couldn't monitor instruments live while recording. I don't recommend this product for use with Linux Mint.

Good video picture, but ?
Good-looking over-all video picture, with little or no video latency while using FaceTime. With Zoom, however, there is quite a bit of video latency. I use a new M1 Chip Mac Mini, with 16 GB of memory, using OS 11 (Big Sur).

Response from Monoprice
Hi, thanks for your purchase and review. There was a known issue (or at least many reports noted) with the Zoom software on Mac Minis with the M1 Chip and Big Sur. It sounds like Zoom developers were working on a solution, in the meantime it might help to disable the additional video filters and featrures on the Zoom app settings to reduce software latency.
