Great Kettle! Bring water to a boil in minutes.

The first kettle I got didn't work, so I shipped it back for a replacement. The 2nd one seems to be working well so far. It's a sleek design and it heats up moderately quickly. It took 2 minutes to heat up 0.5 L to boiling, at which point, it took about 20 seconds of rolling boil to get the unit to shut off by itself. The kettle sits on top of the base, which plugs into the wall. The base is heating only on one half of the kettle, which I don't know if that's a defect, or how it actually works. It seems to heat up a little slower than the old kettle I used to have, but it sure is nicer looking.
