Correct except that with the front grille on it is 22" front to back. Connections in the back add another 1/2". It should also be out from the wall a little if possible.

It comes with the power cord and a set of white gloves. As far as cables, you’ll need a RCA cable or this sub can be used with XLR cables, depending on your equipment. This sub is an absolute beast and well worth the price.

Your avr receiver should have a subwoofer rca connection on the back of it. Once you locate that run the rca cable to the sub and you are good. If you want to maximize the sub as one probably would. Get a rca cable that has one male connection on one end and 2 male connections on the other. That way you will have LFE to the sub. Hope that helped

You have to use a subwoofer line level output of the preamp. If you do not have LFE line level output you can use L/R. You can not come directly off an amplifier.

I have a 2800 cubic square foot room. Would this sub work well in my room?
A shopper
on Jul 17, 2022
BEST ANSWER: Yes. My room is bigger and im more than happy. I love base and good fidelity sound but im not an extreme audio snob. I opted for buying one 10” vs one 12” expecting to want to buy another 10” later, but probably never will cause i gotta turn this thing down the way it is; it makes me smile a lot. However, with large rooms two subs would give a much more symmetric sound meaning it would be harder to tell where the base is coming from.

It has a nice output and I'm sure it would sound ok, but just ok in a room that size. It goes without saying that that's subjective. I personally like that pressurized sensation along with the deeper notes, so I went with 2 of these. One on either side of my sofa facing forward. My room is 2200 cubic feet.

Considering ordering 2 of the M-10 V2. Connection is a concern. My amp only has single RCA outputs. This subwoofer has RCA in and XLR in but only XLR out. Will they function properly if I run RCA in to the first sub, then daisy chain to the second sub using the XLR out from sub 1 to XLR in on sub 2 ?

I dont remember the specs but i do remember the principle. All things being equal, the larger subs push more air and so can fill the room better if your space is large enough. Research shows that two is significantly better than one. I bought the 10” thinking i would end up needing a second one in the future (i have a 40’x15’x9’ room). It sounds so good to me that i probly never will.

In looking at the specs for the new 10 Inch V2 model (# 42843), do you know why operation in vented mode with THX EQ is not recommended, and like wise, operation in sealed mode with Extended EQ is not recommended? Would distortion rise or does it risk woofer damage at high levels?
Would you suggest following the same guidelines for the previous 10 Inch model (#24456), even though it's specs don't caution about EQ settings in the sealed vs vented modes. Thank you.

Top quality sub..
I was looking for a budget solution for my living room which I primarily use for 2 channel music listening. Was doing some research online and saw rave reviews for monoprice subs. Had already listened to their THX speaker lineup, decided to pull the trigger on this one. Proved to be a wise decision.
Packs a lot of punch with 500W amp and has a linear frequency response with the lows. It is built like a tank using higher quality materials than some of my existing subs. Thoroughly enjoyable.
The only con is it's a bit clunky, not easy to move this thing around.
Would definitely recommend to anyone..

Big Old Chonker
Pretty Big Chonker of a 10" woofer. This thing is solid, big, heavy. Packaging was intense, the unit arrived with no defects or issues. The response is tight, all-in-all a huge step up from both soundbar subwoofers and even other 10" stuff like my old Polks (which sound disappointingly muddy now in comparison). I have it paired with some KEF Q150s for stereo listening. It is a big woofer for the room and my wife was initially fairly upset at just how much space it occupied, but she has since come around because of how much nicer the lower frequency stuff sounds. I don't go in much for audiophile hokum but this was a genuine and noticeable improvement.

What an upgrade!
I upgraded from an 8?, 250w sub that constantly bottomed out. I must say, 1 hell of an upgrade. This 10?, 500 watt doesn?t come close to bottoming out, even during a crazy explosion, fight scenes in movies! Very happy with this sub!! Can only imagine what a 15? sub does. If you?re on the fence, don?t worry, you won?t go wrong!

Best Bass for the Buck Anywhere
Have two M-10Vs subs. Using on 9 channel system mainly for music. Occasional movies. Connected to Denon AVR-4700H as pre-pro with ToneWinner AD-7300 7channel for surrounds (DCM TF700 + Wharfedale D320) + LSA Warp 1 amp for fronts (Wharfedale Jade 5). Sub 1 connected wirelessly via DYNASTY PROAUDIO WSA-5TRV2. Sub2 connected via Monoprice ONIX RCAs. Setup using Audyssey MultiEQ. Sound quality is spectacular. Tight, fast, musical, non-boomy bass even with subs ported at THX setting. Exceptional build quality, even compared to subs way above this price point. Definitely recommend.

What a beast!
Just do it. You wont be disappointed. Coming from the SVS Micro 3000. There is/was no comparison. The Monolith just makes the SVS sound so weak.

I thought it will be a little puppy... Its a ROTTWEILER!!
This sub is truly something, no distortion, no resonance, pure chest pounding deep(when needed) bass!! Definitely was my best choice. This thing is not only to impress your guests(which they will be) but also enjoy on your favorite music no matter what genre. The quality sound is outstanding! You do not need to touch it to see the quality materials, they are there at plain sight. Thank you monoprice

Great impression so far.
Went from a BIC F12 (great value sub, but amp failed) to this. Without messing with detailed setup, I can already tell the difference in bass response. Whole room vibrates even at lower volumes, can't ask for more than that.
Only question now is how it holds up over time.

Great!!!!!!!!
I've been a bass player for years so I like lots of clean bass. This subwoofer knocks it out of the park ! Don't think twice get it.
